Raised under the assumption of being a hero chosen by the Gods, Amred discovered in his adolescence that he was really nothing special at all, and left home to find himself. What he found, mostly, was trouble - and that guitars make pretty decent bludgeons if handled correctly.

His wandering eventually lead him to the Cerillos village, recently ravaged by a battle between two cults. He was fascinated by the tale he heard - a fanatic follower of the Earthshaker clashing with a megalomaniac who commanded a squadron of monsters. He had to know more. After all, he had always been interested in the stories of the bards that wandered through his home village. Someone had to tell this story. Why not him?
