Born a Progenitor, Dawnrider was born from the forest itself by the magic of the Gladekeeper. She sent him on a journey, though he took many detours along the way. His charge was found soon enough in the form of a beautiful female named Fauna. She had just finished carving out a lair when he stumbled upon it and was faced with a roar of warning from her. Oh it was love at first fight.

Double-tailed Warcats rival the size of many dragons. These fierce creatures are bred and trained as guardians by the Longneck tribes.

Fauna warmed up to the big brute quickly and the two of them settled into her lair to raise their first, and thus far only, clutch of eggs. Dawnrider knew that his charge would be the protection of their growing clan, and he soon began his training at the Coliseum in order to be strong enough to perform his duty.
As their clan grows, he takes any willing dragons out to train with him, happy to show them how to fight as a group. Through many battles, Dawnrider has gained a pattern of scars across his brightly colored body, but he knows his mate rather likes the look of them.

While free to mate with the other females of their little clan, Dawnrider is very much committed to Fauna and their combined task of watching over the others. Soon though, he thinks he'll retire from his egg making duties in order to focus more on his fighting skills.
