Biography

1085.png Uther
"signifying awful, wonderful, astonishing, terrific, horrible" or possibly "king of dragons"
"insert quote here"

Born the smallest of all his siblings, and given a name with such a dower meaning behind it, Uther grew up with a chip on his shoulder. He was not a particularly happy hatchling, and the fact that their parents were almost constantly busy didn't help matters. While his brother and sister were free to prance around the lair like they owned the whole clan, Uther just wanted to be alone (and to escape the gentle torment of Verdure). Whenever he could evade supervision, the little male would sneak off to explore the forest and all the secrets it held.

Too weak for much more than basic lessons at the Coliseum training fields, Uther was often excused from these duties and allowed to amuse himself. He made friends with several older dragons of the clan, learning to read and write quicker than either of his siblings. Never did he confront their mother to ask her why she would give him a name that was meant to convey ideas like "terrible" and "awful" in its meaning. Uther was too afraid of what her answer might be, and so he avoided the topic entirely.

Quiet and withdrawn, this young dragon is teetering on the edge between sullen and bitter. When their father brought home a Water flight egg and out hatched another male with yellow coloring like his own, Uther was ... well he wasn't happy. Though their new adopted brother was born a Mirror instead of a Guardian, he was an instant commodity in the clan. Just another dragon to steal the spot light, and certainly a much better addition to the family than himself, thought Uther. Self pity and a feeling like the doesn't belong has driven the idea of simply leaving unannounced into the young dragon's mind.
