As a Progenitor, Fauna was born into the world by a deity, the Gladekeeper herself brought her forth from the ground fully formed. She taught her many things and sent her on a journey to learn everything she could. Afterwards, Fauna traveled until she found a suitable place to carve out a lair of her very own. She knew, unlike most Guardians, that her charge would not be something to be found. But rather, to be created.

Fauna protects her clan, most importantly the nesting grounds and newly hatched dragons. She is a very gentle and loving clan mother, and can often be seen playing and napping with the clan's current brood of hatchlings.
As her duties are important and she is looked up to by the whole clan for leadership and protection, Fauna wears minimal jewelry. However, her mate knows that the best way to soothe this forest queen when she's upset is to bring her something small and shiny. And if that doesn't work, a sweet little baby dragon will do the trick just as well.

At this point in her life, Fauna has hatched a single nest of her own, and doesn't have plans to have another any time soon. She is far too busy helping to raise each new nest her clanmates provide. And while her mate may help sire new generations with others within the clan, Fauna and everyone else knows that he comes back to their corner of the lair every night to be with his love.
