Physalia

"We came spinning out of nothingness, scattering stars like dust."

Regal and graceful, Physalia brought light to the darkness of her watery world when she came forth, not only giving away her birth clan's secret base, but also providing a nice little homing beacon for every predator within a hundred mile radius.

Born on land, Physalia would've been a walking wonder, but born three thousand feet under the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Physalia was regarded as a swimming disaster. Where she went, predators would follow. And as if that wasn't bad enough, Physalia had been born as an unusually stocky Guardian, and no matter how hard she tried, she sank like a rock when she swam.

When Physalia was of age, she felt, as most other young Guardians felt, an irresistible pull towards her Charge. Following the attraction, she stepped on land for the first time and saw the beautiful forests and beaches of what she had used to consider as "the other world". She was amazed by all the different types of dragons, and would've stayed longer to admire the scenery if she hadn't felt the tug of her Charge. She went straight towards where her Charge was calling to her, plowing numerous dragons and trees out of her way.

Where there were mountains that obstructed her way, Physalia dug a tunnel. Where there were rivers, Physalia built a bridge. Where there were aggravated Familiars, Physalia decked them over the head and sent them on their way with a few boo-boo's. Her motives and actions were practical from her point of view, but other dragons considered her a vigilante and praised her name wherever she went.

Finally, Physalia came to the Starwood Strand, where she felt, with certainty, her Charge's presence. She continued on until she was in the deepest, darkest parts of the forest. There, the tug felt stronger than ever, and she started to run.

Running in the dark was not exactly the smartest thing to do, because no matter how bright Physalia was, she simply could not see where in the world she was going. Consequently, this caused her to trip over an object on the ground and fall flat on her nose, eye-level with a strange orb.

It was not her Charge. Her Charge was still somewhere out there, nearby. But Physalia's curiosity momentarily overwhelmed the importance of her Charge. She touched the orb, and she was changed...into a Nocturne dragon.

With this change, Physalia's connection to her Charge was severed. This led to a temporary phase of What in the Tidelord's name am I doing here? followed by a phase of WAT DO I DO NOW??? and the more mowing down of trees and mountains.

Thankfully, it wasn't long before she stumbled into a Fae known as Goat, and was recruited into the Burrow. In the Burrow, Physalia was able to learn all about the world of the land above water and understand the magic that had changed her form. Though her new clanmates have offered numerous times to change her back, Physalia's perfectly fine with shedding several hundred pounds of weight and gaining the ability to better maneuver around trees instead of through them.

In the clan, Physalia has taken it upon herself to make the clan's operations more efficient and effective. Under her supervision, hatchlings have stopped mistaking rocks for food and sometimes magical experiments are actually finished without blowing half the lair up! Physalia prides herself on her ability to run the clan smoothly (Even if she has to run it under Fading's supervision), and more often times than not, she won't let Goat run the clan in her place.

Physalia interacts well with her clanmates, but occasionally she forgets that she still has the strength of a Guardian and sends other dragons to the infirmary after a near-fatal high-five. Amazingly, she still manages the ability to snuggle with Veranyi without folding him in half and breaking his back. Though Physalia claims that Veranyi's annoying and disruptive and she'd be better off without someone like him as her mate, her huggles with him would prove her quite wrong.

One thing Physalia dislikes is being asked difficult questions on matters that she considers are not practical. If Physalia is ever silent after a question, she's either ready to break free of societal restraint and wreak havoc on your face, or she's just chilling.
