Like most Faes, Sirius is strongly aware of the magic that flows through the land, air, creatures, and seas. As of such he is the perfect leader for the magic creatures that live in the Clan. They go by the name of Nettle Kettles (probably because they are most famous for brewing magical teas and other potions).

Most mages are often needed for brewing all sorts of potions like healing spells or fire repel charms (for the occasional black smith incident- don't know why they were near lots of flammable plants when they did this). Tricksters are also known to mess with brews and potions which very commonly sets of either fog or fireworks (again this is why we need fire repel charms and water potions).

His familiar, Moonbeam Crayfish likes to stay up with Sirius to make potions and even fends off any unaware Tricksters messing up his brews. Sirius does, at some time, experiment with his potions and, thankfully, they end up pretty good. However, potions aren't the only things, sometimes magic items are made as well. The latest is a light disc made to trap light and shine it when there is little. It makes a great lamp.
