Biography
Cynthia is part of the Nettle Kettles, identified by the mage's hats they wear. Cynthia may be one of these mages, but she also helps her Aunt Orchid when she is studying potions by transmuting materials gained from scavengers. Since she those both jobs, Cynthia is also a Transmuting Thymes. It isn't uncommon for some dragons to do more then one job, just ask some of the Taverneers. Since, Cynthia is so good with a pot, she decides to help both groups. Cynthia's job is to make potions and transmutations for the clan to use or sell.
Cynthia is always working on potions; in fact, if you were to visit her house right now, you’d see the swirls of colored smoke from her pot. Cynthia owns her own bookshelf dedicated to spells and charms she brews. These potions can be used to put out fires, heal injuries, and taste really good in a cup of Mulberry tea. Cynthia also loves experimenting with materials. She adds them in with normal spells to try to make better potions or even new ones no one else has discovered before. Because of her success with magic, she often gets a lot fame amongst potion users like the Glade-Guard and Forest Rangers(and unfortunately Tricksters :3). Cynthia loves the fame too, which in turn makes her annoying to the other brewers. Vixen doesn’t seem to mind her too much(her students admire her), except when her class starts crowding Cynthia in the middle of a lesson. Cynthia says she just s needs to borrow Vixen’s notes, but I really think she just wants attention.
Cynthia has two familiars: the Primrose Mith and Rhodochrosite Crane. Both of these familiars help Cynthia out when making potions and transmutations. Her Primrose Mith loves gathering ingredients for potions whether it be natural or from someone’s house. It also preps the ingredients for Cynthia’s potions as well as recommending a certain one to give it a boost. Her Crane helps by sorting her potions, grabbing the correct books containing her potion recipe, and keeping Cynthia’s potions from being stolen(especially from Tricksters:3). However, both familiars get along well(probably because Cynthia lets them in on the fame).
Though Cynthia works on potions, she also takes breaks- it’s good not to overexpose yourself to explosions and crazy potion tests in one day. Cynthia spends her time being a star on the field. She actually enjoys the Fae Football Games, and so do the Faes. Though she is pretty good, her teammate, Leora, is still able to outshine her. Cynthia even tries to use speed and agility potions to try to outshine her at practice but Leora still keeps her title as the Best Fae Football Imperial. That’s okay Cynthia, you still got Best Potion Maker. (But don’t tell her that, she kinda still wants to be the best at both :3).
