Biography

Undercover Spy
Kind - Intense
Just - Hot-tempered

"Your father is a cold-blooded murderer, why should we trust you?
"I am not my father."
"Then who are you?"
"I am everything my father isn't."

SoulHunter is feared across the Viridian Labryinth for his cold-blooded ruthlessness beneath a layer of beguiling mellowness. Naturally, his daughter is expected to follow in his footsteps and, as far as he knew, Ruse settled in a Nature clan as a hatchling to carry on his covert work underneath a 'ruse' of innocence. Unbeknownst to him, however, his ruse fell flat. His daughter is kind-hearted and has an acute sense of good and evil and 'good' was what she chose to become. Now she does the work her father intended for her, except for good. She is ashamed of her heritage but glad of the doors it opens for her, for she's able to easily immerse herself in the crime world without anyone suspecting that she's there to bring them to justice. She both loves and hates her work and fears becoming like her father when forced to come so close to evil, but good always wins over in the end and she's saved many lives.

Dreamer Blurb
(by GlitterDCMarvel, with slight modifications by myself

I was doing what I was normally doing... Going undercover within a criminal hideout, of which had many dragons cluttered about, chatting about their latest scheme. I was here to uncover some important information so that I could stop it from happening... Evil things, to be more specific.
And then, a dragon wearing a black cape flew by me, causing me to fall to the ground, nearly making me drop my cloak and blow my cover.
I growled, dusting myself off when I noticed that same dragon go around a corner, of which I knew led to only a wall. Why would they be going that way? That intrigued me, and thus, I weaved last the crowd as I made way for that entrance, making sure to hold onto my cloak as tightly as possible to keep it from falling off.
When I got to the wall, the dragon wasn't even there. I realized with fascination that the dragon must have some sort of power to phase through walls, or there must be some sort of secret entrance I didn't even know of before. Curious, I began knocking on the wall, looking for some difference in sound that could indicate that there was in fact a passage naked to the eye.
When I confirmed there wasn't a passage, I decided it was most likely the latter. Growling with frustration, I turned around to try and find another way to get to the suspicious dragon, when all of a sudden, two claws came from some sort of shadowy muck that appeared on the wall, and grabbed me around the stomach.
I roared with surprise as I was pulled into some sort of realm I had no idea even existed. When I whipped around to growl and gave my confronter, the dragon in question... And from earlier... Tore his cape off, revealing he was some sort of shadowy mirror with glowing red eyes and clawtips. I narrowed my eyes and growled at him.
"What do you want from me." I asked him in a stern tone.
"I've heard... How many despise you for being a daughter of a monster." The dragon said, his voice wispy and echoey.
"Yeah, so what?" I narrowed my eyes even more, starting to get suspicious.
"Well... I could fix that. Respect is earned through fear... Strength... And apparently you don't have it. You are weak... I can make you strong, stronger than your father..."
Before he could say what he was about to say, I had already grown ticked off with him.
Without warning, I bared my teeth, launching my whole body at him, and ended up pinning him to the ground.
"How's THAT for weak, you little jerk." I spat at him. He was looking at me with a face of shock. I didn't care. This guy was trying to manipulate me into something ridiculous, which i wouldn't fall for in a million years.
The mirror beneath my claws began to growl, and attempted to throw me off. He nearly did, but I managed to keep steady and keep him where I wanted him to be.
"Get me out. Now." I ordered sternly, curling my lips up into a snarl as an attempt to intimidate him.
He remained silent for a long moment, before he started to laugh, which made me sick to the stomach. He looked at me with pity.
"No. You are going to die here. BY MY CLAWS."
He suddenly threw me off with a strength I hadn't felt before, and I roared with surprise before scrambling to my feet, flaring my wings and roaring as loud as I could to show how ticked off I was. What did this dragon think he was?
"You could have listened, but you didn't." The dragon said knowingly, looking at me with a tilted head. "And now... You will face the consequences." His voice became extremely deep, whispery, and uncanny as soon as he said that sentence. He then snarled and lept at me.
Thinking fast, I pounced back at him, but I had to intention to battle back. Rather. I gripped onto him, attempting to maneuver him towards the wall so that we could both be out. Hopefully some of the criminal dragons could back me up with this dragon, though I'd doubt it.
I managed to get his direction just enough to the point, when he tried to get me off, he burst out of the wall along with me, and I let go of him, using the time he used to get up as an advantage to get away from him as fast as possible. Gasps arose from the crowd as I flew above them, their eyes widened in surprise. I then heard a wicked roar from behind me, and realized the shadowy mirror was quickly catching up. Gritting my teeth, I dove into the crowd, trying to get lost and blend in so that the mirror wouldn't see me.
However, out of nowhere, a dragon... A Coatl... Wearing a white cloak jumped into the action, and appeared to have ... Two white glowing whips that were attached to bangles on her wrists, hovering around her. The crowd saw her as well, and murmurs began to arise of what this dragon could be.
The mirror didn't like her, apparently. He began screeching at her in the most unholy way possible, in a cry of challenge. The Coatl didn't even flinch. Rather, she grasped onto her magical whips, and used it to grab the mirror, and throw him to the ground.
The crowd gasped with amazement, and as did I. I was impressed. This was the bravest Coatl I've seen in my entire existence on Sorneith.
She easily kept that mirror down, who'd struggled against her whips, but they just kept getting tighter and tighter the more he did so. The Coatl then turned to me.
"Come along with me." she said with a serious allure, the whips somehow levitating with the shadowy mirror within them as she walked. I hesitated at first, but then I followed her.

And that's where I learned she was a dreamer, and she had been impressed by my wit and intelligence, and that she wanted me to join the dreamers. If it's yo save other dragons lives, I'm in, and so I accepted, and now I'm officially training to be a dreamer.
Maybe I can finally break free of my heritage, and become an individual, just like every other dragon, if I do this. I sure hope so.

The dreamers are a guild, thus they train dreamers to fight against the awoken. Much like am rpg, there are many classes and subclasses! The more dreamers to save the awoken, the better! Killing one of the awoken is forbidden in the Dreamers, because you can't save a dead dragon.

Ruse is also a member of the Dreamers, a guild fighting the monstrous Awoken. One of the Awoken tried to get her to join them, but she refused and joined the other side, proving once and for all that she's on the side of goodness and light. Fighting both natural and supernatural enemies is exhausting, but Ruse has incredible determination to overcome them and protect the dragons that chose to accept her and give her a home.
