THE AWOKEN
you are walking through an abandoned alley when you are confronted by an odd glow. It seems to be coming from the cracks within the walls, and it gets brighter and brighter the closer you are to it. You look around. There are no doors to where the light could be coming from. Curious and intrigued, you approach the light with a sense of caution, your wings ready to take flight as soon as it shows to be of any danger.
As soon as you are only a few feet from it, long strands of light burst out of the source and wrap around your waist and legs. You roar in surprise as it starts to pull you in. You try to resist, but this only makes the strands tighter. You eventually give in because of the pain of restraining burns, and let you pull you in.
You are then thrown into a strange, little shop. Well, it could be a shop, but it looks more like a storage. The only thing around you are a couple boxes and some cobwebs. You turn around, and you see a door at the back. Maybe you weren't meant to be trapped here after all.
Sighing in relief, you are about to approach the door when all of a sudden you here footsteps behind you.
You gasp and spin around to meet your confronter. You then relax when you see its merely a nocturne.

"Hello, there." He says in a friendly voice like silk. "Welcome to... my little shop. You can call me Kolos."
Suddenly, the storage room slowly warps into a gigantic store, filled to the brim with terrifying, unearthly things. Eyes lined the walls, and you could feel them watching your every move. Something scuttled up above, seeming to be a fae dragon... and then it turned its head 360 degrees to stare at you, screeching in a loud tone, before dropping down besides Kolos.

"Please excuse Inquisitor. That's her way of saying she likes you." Inquisitor purred at you hypnotically, and you had to shake your head before you fell asleep.
"No, Inquisitor, as much as you like them, you cannot steal their soul." Kolos scolded. Inquisitor frowned. However, she pulled out a list and began writing something. You were curious of what the otherworldly, and creepy, fae could be doing.
"She's merely documenting to me the monster inside of you waiting to be awakened... every dragon has one. The deities know this, thus they always make sure to seal it within each of us to ensure there is no escape of this inner beast. However..." Kolos grinned. Despite his light, holy exterior, deep inside you knew this was the exact opposite of the case.
"I could help you unleash it. Just pay a fee, and the power of horror and darkness within yourself shall be yours..."
Inquisitor gives Kolos the paper, and he reads through it, before looking up at you again. His smile has become even bigger.
"And, you, my friend, have potential." He purrs at you.
"However, if you refuse..." Suddenly his eyes become dark, and he nears his face against yours until his snout is only merely inches apart from yours. A dark, unnatural grin stretches across his face as he whispers,
"Don't expect to live a life of safety ever again..."
A part of your brain is eager to give in to the temptation(and not because Inquisitor is hypnotizing you). OR a part of your brain wants to give in in order to not get yourself killed but at the same time, you have a feeling you need to get the hell out.
What will you do?
Will you become one of them?
Or possibly become a victim?

WHAT ARE THE AWOKEN?
The AWOKEN are dragons that have had their inner monsters unleashed... the terrifying powers inside of them that almost come straight from a horror movie! Every dragon has a monster sleeping within them... only a select few of the awoken can wake up other dragon's monsters. The deities always have dragons monsters sleeping for a reason...
The shade was the one who cursed this upon all of dragonkind as revenge on the deities. The awoken aren't shade-touched, but more like the monster within them is a sort of "gift" from the shade, per-say.
Awoken dragons call themselves the awoken because their inner monsters are awakened... but they also view it as a way of "waking up" from the false realities of worshiping deities and now "know" that the deities are only a bunch of powerful dragons that want dragons to think that they are gods. Thus, they hate the deities with a passion for keeping them "asleep" for so long.
Upon becoming awakened, dragons will think they know the truth, thus thinking they are the good guys and will do the things they do to gain strength (and to feed the awoken monster within them) and so they could spread the "truth" to other dragons.
Awoken dragons will lure "sleeping" dragons (what they call none-awoken dragons) with kindness and many sweet temptations, before revealing their true intentions... but usually by then, that dragon thinks that the awoken are the greatest dragons on Earth and are willing to become awakened. No one knows how they do it so effectively.
Awoken dragons usually stick together in their own clans, although there are a select few who sometimes join sleeping clans (clans with no awakened dragons in them) in order to try and spread the awakening throughout the dragons of that clan. All it takes is one awoken dragon within a clan, and soon all the dragons of that clan will be awakened. Once again, its a mystery of how they do it so efficiently.
Very few know that the awakened exist, and the only deity who knows that they do exist is the Arcanist, because of a science experiment gone wrong. Thus, the Arcanist leads a secret group of dragons called the dreamers that aim to stop the awakenings once and for all, as well as save those who have been awoken.
It's up to you to which side you will take. The awoken, or the dreamers? You decide...

KAIJUS
When you come to, you find that your body tingles in a way that makes you somehow think that it's... Always growing new parts? You shudder, unsure of what could have happened that made you feel like this. After your vision clears up a bit, you start to realize you're within some sort of lab... A lab that is unusually ginormous. You had recently become awakened, and you remember you did volunteer for something... That's right. You volunteered to become a Kaiju. That's why you felt as if your body was constantly in a state of change. Kaiju's bodies do mutate all the time, after all. "Awake?" A strange imperial, looking as if he was entirely made of metal, suddenly approaches and asks you. You nod. He begins to take notes, seeming to wait for something to happen.
All of a sudden, you feel your body buzz and tingle extremely roughly, and you suddenly have grown another tail. You Yelp at the suddenness of the mutation, but the imperial looks satisfied, writing down the notes that he had just observed of your mutation.
"Soon, you will be a force to reckon with." He says to you, smiling sickingly.
WHAT ARE THE KAIJUS?
These are the biggest... And most destructive... Awoken. They are very solitary, and live by themselves within the very first giant lair they destroyed, which they rebuilt and redecorated to their liking. They are absolutely ginormous, and use this to their advantage while destroying clans. A Kaiju is created when a dragon is awoken while being subjected to radioactivity, usually by an arcane awoken. Because of their subject to radioactivity, they are constantly mutating in order to become more terrifying and stronger, although they don't have any control over what their body decides to mutate. The oldest Kaiju are often so heavily mutated they could be barely recognized as actual dragons anymore. Every once in a while, a Kaiju goes through a giant mutation, which they call "a primary mutation", and whenever this happens to a Kaiju, it's like a birthday for them, and many other Kaiju celebrate with the Kaiju to celebrate.
Kaijus choose carefully which clans they want to destroy, and do it with precision. Many think of them brainless beasts, although this isn't true. Kaiju are actually quite calculative, and many have had a mutation that caused them to become more intelligent. These are the main threats against the lost... One could take down a lost if they wanted to.
Because they never stop mutating, their is a constant aura of radioactivity around them, which they use to awaken other dragons in order to become Kaijus.
Venom, one of the leaders of the awoken, had created the Kaijus, and he is very proud of them. This was his response to the increasing number of losts.

LEVIATHANS: A subbranch of Kaijus. Leviathans are watery versions of their mostly land counterparts, destroying and devouring anything crossing their paths within the perilous waters. Their mutations are all sea-related, and have mutated to become the most abomination-looking, dangerous, and powerful creatures within the ocean. The tidelord has been noticing these, and is wondering what is going on within his seas...
Leviathans are unable to leave the sea, as they have been evolved to only live within water, meaning they no longer have lungs. Their former wings have become gigantic fins that could still be used to glide for short distances within the air above the water, but is now mostly used to propel themselves quickly throughout the water, and to make extremely sharp turns.
