THE AWOKEN you are walking through an abandoned alley when you are confronted by an odd glow. You try to resist, but this only makes the strands tighter. You eventually give in because of the pain of restraining burns, and let you pull you in. You are then thrown into a strange, little shop. Well, it could be a shop, but it looks more like a storage. The only thing around you are a couple boxes and some cobwebs. You turn around, and you see a door at the back. Maybe you weren't meant to be trapped here after all. Sighing in relief, you are about to approach the door when all of a sudden you here footsteps behind you. Suddenly, the storage room slowly warps into a gigantic store, filled to the brim with terrifying, unearthly things. Eyes lined the walls, and you could feel them watching your every move. That's her way of saying she likes you." Inquisitor purred at you hypnotically, and you had to shake your head before you fell asleep. "No, Inquisitor, as much as you like them, you cannot steal their soul." Kolos scolded. Inquisitor frowned. However, she pulled out a list and began writing something. You were curious of what the otherworldly, and creepy, fae could be doing. "She's merely documenting to me the monster inside of you waiting to be awakened... every dragon has one. The deities know this, thus they always make sure to seal it within each of us to ensure there is no escape of this inner beast. However..." Kolos grinned. Despite his light, holy exterior, deep inside you knew this was the exact opposite of the case. "I could help you unleash it. Just pay a fee, and the power of horror and darkness within yourself shall be yours..." Inquisitor gives Kolos the paper, and he reads through it, before looking up at you again. His smile has become even bigger. "And, you, my friend, have potential." He purrs at you. "However, if you refuse..." Suddenly his eyes become dark, and he nears his face against yours until his snout is only merely inches apart from yours. A dark, unnatural grin stretches across his face as he whispers, "Don't expect to live a life of safety ever again..." A part of your brain is eager to give in to the temptation(and not because Inquisitor is hypnotizing you). Or possibly become a victim? Every dragon has a monster sleeping within them... only a select few of the awoken can wake up other dragon's monsters. The deities always have dragons monsters sleeping for a reason... The shade was the one who cursed this upon all of dragonkind as revenge on the deities. The awoken aren't shade-touched, but more like the monster within them is a sort of "gift" from the shade, per-say. Awoken dragons call themselves the awoken because their inner monsters are awakened... but they also view it as a way of "waking up" from the false realities of worshiping deities and now "know" that the deities are only a bunch of powerful dragons that want dragons to think that they are gods. Thus, they hate the deities with a passion for keeping them "asleep" for so long. Upon becoming awakened, dragons will think they know the truth, thus thinking they are the good guys and will do the things they do to gain strength (and to feed the awoken monster within them) and so they could spread the "truth" to other dragons. Awoken dragons will lure "sleeping" dragons (what they call none-awoken dragons) with kindness and many sweet temptations, before revealing their true intentions... but usually by then, that dragon thinks that the awoken are the greatest dragons on Earth and are willing to become awakened. No one knows how they do it so effectively. Awoken dragons usually stick together in their own clans, although there are a select few who sometimes join sleeping clans (clans with no awakened dragons in them) in order to try and spread the awakening throughout the dragons of that clan. Very few know that the awakened exist, and the only deity who knows that they do exist is the Arcanist, because of a science experiment gone wrong. Thus, the Arcanist leads a secret group of dragons called the dreamers that aim to stop the awakenings once and for all, as well as save those who have been awoken. KAIJUS
looking for someone to make me a rainbow themed sig!
THE DREAMERS You burst back through that door before Kolos could even react. No way. No way you were becoming a monster. Those dragons were insane. Awoken? More like brainwashed! Suddenly, a figure wearing a white cloak grabs you, their paw over your maw so you wouldn't make any noise. You panic, trying to fight against the figure's strong grip, but they don't even budge against your clawing and tail thwacks. They drag you into what seems to be another part of the alley, although it is much more lit up than the hell you just escaped. In fact, many pretty lights are what is lighting up the alley, floating aloofly, and although they looked like wisps, they weren't made with an evil intention at all. You could tell by the magical pulse it gave off. The figure who grabbed you lets you go, and as you capture a few breaths, the figure takes off the hood concealing their face, revealing that he was a male snapper with arcane eyes.

"You resisted?" The snapper breathed, staring at you. Still in a state of shock, you shakingly nod, peering into the pinkness of his enlarged orbs. "I'm impressed...very few can resist the temptations of the awoken." The snapper continues, his tail waving back and forth thoughtfully. "Say... Since you could resist... Mind if I ask you to join the dreamers?" You tilt your head curiously at him, wondering who in the world these "dreamers" were. "Well, what we do..." He is suddenly interrupted by a monotone voice. "Farell! I found Kolo's latest shop setup!" A fae wearing a similar clock to the snapper said, waving a rolled up piece of parchment in the air.

"Good job, Tapioca. Document that in all the awoken sightings." Farell, apparently the name of the snapper, told the fae assumed to be Tapioca. Tapioca nodded before flitting into a... wall? You watch in amazement as a pink ripple seemed to swallow her as she flew through the wall. What was that? "Oh, we have many different stations for teleportation only the dreamers could use. It helps tracking down the awoken." Farell smiled, "anyways, this is our cause..." WHAT ARE THE DREAMERS? The dreamer's goal is to stop the awakening once and for all... Bring all those poor dragons that have been awakened back to their senses. They all greatly worship the Arcanist, since he was the one who helped Farell resist his awakening in the first place. The Arcanist visits all the dreamers within their dreams, guiding and helping them putting the monsters within the awakened back to sleep... If not kill them off completely. The dreamers chose their name so that the awoken could have a name to fear, for the awoken' first fear is to 'be put back to sleep'. They are currently trying to find a way to reverse the awakening without more brainwashing... They aren't a cult, after all, they are trying to save dragonkind! Some dreamers, such as Farell, are able to fake being awoken so they could go undercover in an awakened clan. Like Farell mentioned above, the dreamers have teleportation points around Sorienth, and even beyond, so that tracking down the Awoken can be easy. The leader of the Dreamers is Farell, and his assistant, Tapioca, who also happens to be his mate. They wear white cloaks in order to conceal their identity from every dragon... After all, if their existence gets revealed, the awoken will get revealed as well, and the dreamers don't want dragons to be "awakened" by the dozen. The dreamers dream of finally having a peaceful Sorienth without the Awoken. The dreamers are a guild, thus they train dreamers to fight against the awoken. Much like am rpg, there are many classes and subclasses! The more dreamers to save the awoken, the better! Killing one of the awoken is forbidden in the Dreamers, because you can't save a dead dragon. THE LOST You burst out of some sort of cacoon, spreading your somehow enlarged wings, feeling the sun hit your scales. Ah, what a nice day to be... Wait. you weren't supposed to be alive. You were supposed to be dead... The last memory you had was being torn to shreds by an odd unidentifiable dragon out of the blue, and all you remembered about him was that he was a yellow nocturne... Then, you see a scary, yet beautiful, imperial flying above you. His pupils were glowing a sharp red, and he was gigantic.

He didn't look like he was going to threaten you, so you looked down at yourself in confusion. You cry in shock when you see your scales have changed to become scarier, yet strangely beautiful in a way... And you have grown a-lot larger. You hear a chuckle as the imperial that was circling above flies down to land before you, wearing a somewhat evil smile. "Hello there. I know it must be strange to become a lost." He said in a voice similar to that of... How do you describe the old voice of shadow the hedgehog? A lost? What the hell was a lost? You looked at him with pure confusion. The imp chuckled more, rolling his eyes."typical. Well, let me explain..." They used to be extremely rare and shunned by other dragons, since they are actually one of the highest rank demons, and were often killed as soon as they were reborn, not even offered a second chance at life. These dragons have a tie to the underworld, although it's unknown what that tie is. They have recently become more and more common because of the rise of the awoken. Dreamer scientists think that this may be because since the awoken spread like a disease, more and more dragons are killed within each day, thus creating a boost in a "birth" of a lost. The losts named themselves in order to mock the awoken for thinking that their life had been permanently lost, and to also have a name that would cause a shiver down their spine thinking of it. When a dead dragon is about to become a lost after being killed, a cacoon of some sorts whose looks foreshadow their powers as a lost wrap around them, in order for the body of the dragon safe so that they could transform into a lost. During the process of turning into a lost, the dragon's colors change to become scarier and darker (yet beautiful), become a-lot larger, and may even have their breed change for some reason. The cacoon of the lose them breaks so that the now alive again dragon that has become a lost can venture into the world. After hatching from their cacoon, lost dragons have temporary amnesia, where everything is just a blur, but can remember clear as day as how they were killed ruthlessly and by whom if they recognized them. Because of this, usually a lost dragon's first initiative is to get revenge on those who have killed them. Farell found Gene, the first lost to become born because of the awoken, only a short while ago. Gene was seeking to kill Mystic, his murderer who had skinned him alive and then finished him off, but Farell told him there was a better way for him to handle the situation. Thus, he joined the dreamers and is now being taught wisdom and advice from Farell, and has become a scout to find uncertain newly born losts and bring them to Farell, and also to explain to them what was happening. The lost have lots of extremely powerful and strange powers... A sure threat to the awoken, who are looking to even the odds by trying to find a lost in their temporary amnesiac state and awakening them through manipulation. Because of this, Gene feels the need to work fast and swiftly to ensure that never happens so that the dreamers would have a constant advantage. However, the awoken have other plans up their sleeve... The dreamers may not have an advantage like they think they do after all... Subbranch WIP:MAGICAL DRAGONS: The new dreamer subbranch. Once, The Arcanist himself handpicked dragons through their dreams, and only picked those who are the kindest and selfless of heart. Because of this, many magical dragons tend to be tundras and guardians, although there are also many other breeds that have the rights to become magical dragons. They receive special stones from the Arcanist, filled with powerful magic that allows the magical dragoness to call on the same thing that awokens unlock when they are awakened, except it is purified, and thus why magical dragons don't have horrific, scary powers like the awoken do. However, the Arcanist, to the current magical dragons, warns them to NEVER take the stone off when transformed, or else there could be drastic consequences... He discovered this when one magical dragoness, Homura, became overtly obsessed with another magical dragoness, Madoka. Homura had for some reason began to think much like an awoken: the deities are evil, and must be stopped, and was trying to "protect" Madoka, who began to grow more and more depressed due to Homura's constant pressuring to resist Arcanist, and how Homura only cared about her and nobody else, which Madoka couldn't understand why. Eventually, it got to the point Homura finally ripped off her stone while transformed, and the result was that she became an already highly mutated Kaiju... For then she kidnapped Madoka, and the two were never seen again. The Arcanist was shocked and saddened by this going very wrong. He thought he may have found a possible solution to the problem, and instead he made things worst. He stopped handing out the stones to dragons, so that this may never happen again. However, he is working on ways to try and fix the stones that this may never happen, but so far, nothing has worked... THE DREAMERS
You burst back through that door before Kolos could even react.
Mind if I ask you to join the dreamers?"
You tilt your head curiously at him, wondering who in the world these "dreamers" were.
It helps tracking down the awoken." Farell smiled, "anyways, this is our cause..."
WHAT ARE THE DREAMERS?
THE LOST
You burst out of some sort of cacoon, spreading your somehow enlarged wings, feeling the sun hit your scales.
Well, let me explain..."

@mangusa a blurb is a piece of text about something. It could be as long as you make it, but its usually about one subject. :) You can see Kivovis' dragon for an example!
