As a young apprentice, Kurokku studied very hard under his Arcane Master, but one day there was an accident and he ended up blind. He ached to see the stars again, but no one could discover a spell to bring back his sight.

He learned and studied with the help of friends and family, and became adept at magical combat - with spells he could see things no one else could, a fraction of the future, and it made him a powerful opponent as he could see where the enemy would be.

With a special helmet made for him without eye holes, if you face him, you can almost feel the feather touch of his spell gaze upon you, though all you see is a metal mask and horns. Opponents twitch uncomfortably , and soon even friends could not stay long in his presence. So Kurokku packed up his meager belongings and his spelled armour, and travelled the world as a contract duelist.

He found himself most welcome in Siltaria's Lair, when he found his life long mate Tsuki. As she liked the night, she never minded his strange gaze, and loved him deeply. They have made their home with this Wind Flight clan.
