THE CHARIOT is the walking, breathing homeland of the Godsfall clan. He is an Emperor; a collective of many Imperials left to die on the WIndsinger's plains He is an ancient being brought back to life by the stolen Blessing of many Exalted dragons. He was brought alive in the lightning farms of of the shifting expanse, but fled to the Tangled Wood after the Stormcatcher caught wind of the forbidden magics that brought him into being. The life-giving Blessing does not extend to Chariot alone, but the structures born on his back. Things tied to his hair and mane tend to start breathing. Or moving, or singing with the Blessing from dragons high above. Chariot is not merely the clan's means of mobility; he is a unique source of magic. He is used to weave the threads of Blessing stolen from Exalted dragons. Saimyasa's plans extend even bigger. She want's the Blessing of the deity's themselves--all eleven. Chariot will become the twelfth dragon god. The shepherding staff to unite the eleven and bring them back home. Permanently.

Chariot is a collective. He speaks with many voices at once, but all combine into one creature. Chariot speaks little and thinks much, but communes only with a select few. He rarely speaks,. The words of his that are spoken are short and concise. Little is known of his opinions of Saimyasa and Akruht's plans. He never speaks of them, and does what he is told. He owes them everything, so he will obey. The power he houses seems to have very little effect on him. He has no aspirations to use it for his own gain, only to protect his family. |
