Flamboyant and bright-eyed, Oddity is not what many expect when they are introduced to Oakrest's medic. Equally at home among the sick and the dead as he is among the living, Odd brings typical fire flight passion and artistry to such mundane things as healing droughts, sutures, and setting bones. Some may question what good is an 'artsy' doctor, but Odd is the first to point out that any task is best approached with a dedication to completion and perfection. And doctoring is no exception. If he is not satisfied completely with something, he will practice it until it is perfect, and only then will he dare implement it on a living patient. Odd has been known to venture deep within the caverns of Oakrest, into the tombs of Cairnstone. There, he has been called upon to determine cause of death of ancient remains, identify mysterious fungal growths, and even do basic field operations on those fortunate enough to survive a cave in or attack from the monstrous beasts sometimes found in the tombs. He approaches his work with an eagerness and brightness that does not easily wear out. He loves his job, and he looks forward to each day as a new challenge. In his spare time, he like to experiment with style and make-up, doing what he can to improve upon his features. Sometimes subtle and sometimes extreme, Odd's change in appearance and aesthetic has long since stopped shocking his peers and patients, and he has been accepted as a capable healer regardless of his looks. |

Vilma - Odd's mate, they are a strange pair. While Odd is light-hearted, Vilma is rather severe. When others ask Odd what he sees in her, he laughs a little awkwardly and admits that she's very pretty. Others think perhaps they are attracted to each other because they see themselves in the other. They are, after all, both quite altruistic if a bit work-oriented. |

Amund - Odd's best friend, the two both arrived in Oakrest after long journeys and were surprised to find they liked it here, despite everything. Amund is quite tolerant of Odd's rambling and light-hearted nature, and Odd is quite respectful of Amund's work. Now and again, one needs the other's services, and such times are marked by playful crowing by the needed party. |

Salica - Oddity trained under Salica for a time after he left the Ashfall Wastes. Salica, the chief healer of the Wild Orchard clan, was born in Oakrest before the tombs were opened. His dedication to the healing arts have been of great use to his clan as they ward off monstrosities of many shapes and sizes. Salica's patience and dedication to the doctoring arts has been an inspiration for Oddity, and he is proud to have the tundra offer thoughts on matters that trouble him. |

Nibiru - A cold and dispassionate creature, Nibiru enjoys Odd's company for the warmth he offers to them. He attempts to be understanding of the dancer's history, and to offer suggestions to help them heal wounds that have been ripped open and left to rot. They have good days where Odd can coax them to talk about their lives growing up in the Ashfall Wastes, and they have bad ones where Odd is grateful they take some time near his fire rather than bask in their silence alone. At least when they are in his office, Odd can be sure Nibiru is eating properly. The two share similar understandings of beauty and grace, and though some raise their eyebrows at the pair, they are simply very dear friends, and there is no romance between them. |
