Caraway

Caraway works industriously throughout the day, her shuttle clacking along as she tats another repetition of the pattern in a length of lace. Spun from fibers from Bernard's silk moths, Caraway's lace is of impeccable quality, and she uses old patterns passed down through the generations of Dragonhome. When traders and scavengers come to the Citadel to sell their wares, Caraway is always one of the first to rummage through their old fabrics, always looking for remnants that may give her another clue of how things were made before.

Some look at a snapper and think they are no good for manufacturing items. They assume that because they do not have the slim, slender hands of a skydancer or a fae that they have no contributions to make besides in oration or travel or combat. But Caraway is keen to show that this is untrue. All her bolts are made by her, using an elaborate apparatus that allows her wield a shuttle much as anyone else might - quickly, gracefully, and effortlessly. Her quarters, which she shares with her mate Marjoram, are filled with aborted projects and pieces that didn't quite work out. It is a quirky space, but it shines with beauty and wafts with some of the most decadent aromas.
