Biography
Name meaning: Yumoto (湯元, literally "origin of hot water") is a small hot spring town in the back of Okunikko and part of Nikko National Park in Japan.
The Japan travel guide for Yumoto onsen says the name is spelled as 湯元, but the Boueibu wiki says his name is spelled as 有基, so I give up trying to figure that one out.
NOTABLE RELATIVES: Gora (adoptive older brother), Ichirou (adoptive daughter), Jirou (adoptive son), Saburou (adoptive daughter), Candytuft (niece)
Even though Yumoto will never know nor remember his "birth" family, I would like to make special mentions of the following dragons related to Babylon's lore: Lucerna (sister), Sunset (sister), Amaranth (brother, look at this. hot mess), Regal (brother), Smaug (brother), Aglasis (brother)
I swear Babylon must be looking through Yumoto's eyes at the mess this clan is like "why did I even bother with this one? this is not what I want. this is not what I planned." because it is certainly not the particular brand of chaos he was looking for. XD
Yumoto was left abandoned in the Hewn City soon after he "hatched". Unsure of what to do, he stayed put, thinking maybe someone would come back for him. But no one did. As he was about to give in to despair, an intimidating-looking Guardian (Gora) found him. He was the most incredible sight Yumoto had ever seen and Yumoto couldn't bring himself to be afraid. When the Guardian spoke, he was gentle and reassuring that everything would be okay, and Yumoto believed him.
The two of them became quick companions and Yumoto came to think of Gora as his older brother, since the Guardian had always protected him and cared for him like family. In fact, Yumoto has forgotten that he and Gora didn't come from the same parents, so he finds it strange whenever someone asks. Yumoto followed Gora to the clan that they now consider home and he is happy to have met so many new friends here.
