Ambriel was one of the first three dragons to join Freida and Drake from outside of their immediate family. She, Nisha, and Markelle stumbled upon the family upon their approach into the borderlands between the Sea of a Thousand Currents and the outskirts of the Tangled Wood; a stretch of land notorious for hostile rogue dragons outcast from their clans. The three mages had met while all traveling to the Starwood Isles, where magical energy is considered to be the most pure, and elected to stay together while they traveled Sornieth. They stuck with the family, figuring that strength lie in numbers. Drake offered to stay together, making his intent to start a clan very clear (to Freida’s chagrin), and the three gladly accepted. Ambriel shared a strong bond with Kaisho almost immediately, and bore a nest of hatchlings with him as soon as the clan settled into one spot.
The Pearlcatcher, having been born in Shadow lands, is less prideful than what Freida had expected of her breed. She takes pride not in her species, but in her psychic attunement. Ambriel reads auras – she cannot see them and scoffs when other dragons describe them in color, as that is far from the most important detail in her eyes. She works with clearance of negative energy and has experience with communicating with spirits.
