Biography
Born in WindSky Weyr (Deladria's)
Awakened: Fuiran; Stonewatch Prince; Parda; Seawater Savior; Crested River Flight
Random Dragon on 4/19/20
Just like Mama! She is now the Weyr's main chef, presiding over The Cantina, a bustling hub open to all in the Weyr, regardless of ability to pay. Part of living at WindSky Weyr involves contributing to the communal pantry, so she has a steady supply of basic ingredients she can count on. She will plan ahead according to her expected pantry stock, and then add on according to the "catches of the day". She does pay for the more hard to find ingredients. Most comers will drop treasure into "the horn of plenty", a collection box designed to entertain as the coins roll down a spiraling path to the bottom before disappearing into her safe, so they can keep her from falling into a rut! Others donate supplies and ingredients for future recipes, which is part of how she keeps the menu interesting.
Lifeanth is her half-sister. They didn't have much to do with one another for many years, until the Cloudsong Celebration saw them enjoying time together at the Mistral Jamboree of 2020. But something wasn't quite right. Uneasy, she attempted to send a message - but it didn't go through! There were complications. They tried to make the best of it, as others joined them. Life does go on, even in times of trouble. But reality reared its head at the end, though her sister almost got lost before they departed!
Pousseth brought her a souvenir from battling in Earth with Snekbroduoth's mother. Amharath is not amused!
Mistral Meals 2017, Day 1 Pressure-Cooked Dryleaf was her first competition.
"A simplistic dish but done well," Kakigori told Amharath as she took a few more bites of her dish, "Though it is lacking quite a bit in-"
What it was lacking in wasn't to be found out. The pressure cooker that Amharath had used to prep her meal was starting to glow and shriek horribly. "What's going on?" the Skydancer asked Gourmet, who'd been on appliance duty that day.
The wildclaw gave a shake of her head, looking utterly baffled, "It was just fine when I showed the contestant how to use it!"
It was then that the pressure cooker exploded into a shower of scrap metal and pink sparks. The rest of Amharath's dish went spilling to the ground and the three dragons ducked for cover.
"I am going to tie Spitz in knots he can't get out of if I find out he was behind this!" Kakigori growled, trying to remember if she'd seen the Arcane Scientist anywhere near the gadgetry when it was delivered earlier. While she was fuming, Gourmet apologized to Amharath and directed her to the tents where she could pick up some packed lunches to replace her ruined meal.
