![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "She's a child of Light," said the priest upon her birth. "Lightweaver will lead us through the darkness of war and into the Light of Day." Born to the late queen Pearl, the three eggs were incredibly weak, and were fervently blessed and prayed for by the Priest of Lightweaver, Divinty throughout their incubation. The results of the Gifts from Lightweaver to the hatchlings and the Queen have been called many things- blessings, curses, omens. The priest declared each special in their own right; the unnamed Lost Prince and his Gembond that caused him to be able to feel nothing at all; Prince Steffan, with his third eye that allows him to see through lies to seek the truth; and youngest, Princess Porcelain, with her set of wings crafted by Lightweaver herself, that would carry her to the answers when her mind couldn't. While the War of Chiaroscuro left the princess alone, her siblings cast away to the ends of the earth and her mother succumbing to death a mere few months after her birth, she'd quickly grow past this melancholy start in life in a few years. Porcelain was largely raised by her significantly older sister, Princess Opal, alongside her own children, Porcelain's niece and nephew, Calendula and Lithium. The children were largely raised as siblings, as there was a mere two years between the heir to the throne and the princess' hatchlings. As she raised them, Opal fought for the royal family to remain in power over the Council, then debated who would be more fit to rule, her or younger sister and at the time, a mere child, Porcelain. While even her half-brother and Representative of Light Ivory was suggested and argued for, Porcelain was given the Crown, and Opal was to begin tutoring her to lead the clan. Though Porcelain detested being awarded the throne, believing her sister to be more fit and the rightful ruler, regardless of birthplace. She also disliked being separated from Calendula and Lithium, even if it was just for classes. Ultimately, however, she began to be taught how to lead, and gradually accepted her duty. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Under Queen Porcelain, a series of advancements have occurred. Calendula's studies of medicine and healing paired with an affection for sewing have birthed sutures, a revolutionary means of closing wounds with needle and thread. This has since saved a number of lives in the Aerial Corps, whom have a plethora of wounds that require stitches to close gashes faster than a healer's magic and bandages. Also, her brother Lithium has become Captain of the Royal Guard and Protector of the Queen, establishing him as Porcelain's own personal guard. He's since put it a number of regulations that further ensure the safety of the royal family and even the Council, allowing for more alliance negotiations and pacts to be drafted than ever before. The Queen herself, alongside her negotiators, has secured over five alliances, opening barriers from neighboring Flights to span the map, allowing for secure bases and embassies within Wind, Ice, and Lightning clans. Porcelain has matured into a beautiful dragoness, and grown to be much larger than most of her siblings and late mother. While her personality seems... muted, as if she's holding back emotion, she's a fair and just ruler, overseeing the clan with a strict discipline that has put many new laws into effect, all giving clear codes of conduct to her tradespeople in foreign business to better ensure the maintained prosperity of the economy. Many who have met the Queen report she's a pretty thing, but not much for a laugh or smile. Though, despite this, she conducted a marriage to an Ice prince, now King Iliac, and has raised children to secure new alliances as far as the Ashfall Waste and Viridian Labyrinth. ![]() |
