A message, sealed with a strip of soft blue silk, was delivered by an obsidian Skydancer whose fiery eyes were just visible through the raven black furs of a wolf pelt. The message was cool to the touch, no doubt some residue of strange Ice magic. The Skydancer refused to leave, clearly expecting an immediate reply. He hovered as close as he dared, walking the fine line between polite restlessness and ungracious impatience.

The letter, once uncoiled, seemed to sigh as it was laid flat. The paper itself was thin and smooth to the touch, the careful handwriting within written in dark purple ink—some sort of snowberry ink, one would gather. The words were printed with neat, tidy care:


Quite miraculously, the letter seemed to melt as soon as the reader read the very last line. The obsidian courier straightened up at this, copper eyes watchful and waiting. It seemed he wasn't about to leave anytime soon, at least not without a reply. It would seem the response would be best written quickly.

That was fun to write! Vardan's the sort who would get along with anyone, but I do agree with Arrow up there in that he'd likely end up visiting your clan for a few days. Just to get to know everyone, solidify the bond between their clans, and generally be as charming as he possibly can.

Ah, I can't wait till they have cute kids. =.D I looked up the possibilities using that last female you hatched and the colours were super Valentine-y. Adorable as all heck. Vardan would probably make for a really odd father at first, but he'll learn.

As for his betrothed, things would likely be awkward and weird at first. Even charming Vardan would start out uncomfortable marrying someone simply for an alliance. But I know he'd get along swimmingly with his mate in the end. =D Do I read too many romance stories? Maybe. Is it totally fine? Absolutely.

The messenger of the clan had perished, the whole clan attacked by some greater force. Quickly, their numbers had diminished before they could gather the numbers to defend themselves. The gods were suffering, for the first time in ages. His mate and wife had been one of the perished ones, a person he mourned every day and night. His father had been no help, leaving Perseus to fill the void. They all knew his father was mourning his other son, but he didn't seem to care his still living son was suffering. A word appeared, a whisper in the night brought from other clans. Perseus was one of the few now unmated, and the need for children was exceptional. No one else was ready as he was, but they were all too impatient to wait. "You will do this." His father, Helios, uttered. "There will be no question." Perseus didn't argue. There was no arguing with his father. He only hoped that everything would go well, to take care of the people he still cared about. I apologise I am not as good as the others at RPing and writing it beautifully. But I really liked the idea and although you already have someone from Fire, maybe you would accept another ally in Fire.

My clan is named Avalon, I haven't managed to write much lore for my dragons, but I hope to write more as time passes by. I do not have a suitor in mind still, I think we can work on that part, as I like more dark/reddish coloured dragons so I am not sure if you have royalty with those colours and you are interested in breeding the said dragon. I would love to RP also before and after the alliance, details for myself and of course the RP would be in the FR universe. The couple can meet while walking through a forest or we can make it more dramatic, one to save the other, both are captives, and are saved, save themselves, we can also make them meet at a ball, or even to someone's else marriage or celebration. I apologise again for the current lack of space, but I can make it, if you decide you are interested. We could even have two pairs (or the same pair), bred in both my lair and yours and exchange one hatchling to seal our bond, the rest could also go into other RP/alliances etc.

I'm working on lore for all of my dragons at the moment, and Daskess probably has one of the shortest bios so I wanted to join this alliance so he had more of a story to be a part of.
