Shadow's Blessed:
Within her gaze you see war.
The blue world is just out of reach, a storm lay hauntingly on the horizon and the endless fields of mist are but a world long lost to the passing of time.

Within her eyes you see hunger, a great desire, a want for infinite strength and ultimate power.
You see death at her hands, and you are left to wonder if what you see is reality, or your imagination.
The thought chills you to the bone.

The firstborn was ever beautiful, taking her mother's build and finesse and combining it with her unknown father's prowess, a fierce and awe-worthy aura in everything she did, her head held high and her shoulders held straight with confidence. Her name, she knew, would one day be well-known if she wanted it to be.

Eliana's gifts were many, and of a large variety. She bore full immunity to the power of electricity, often gaining strength from being stricken by it, and she had a bit of future sight at dusk, the time where her power and strength waxed strong, and remained strong until the the very beginnings of dawn. In addition, shadow's natural elemental gifts were not at all lost to her, as she could harness the power of the darkness when it was present, twisting shapes and convoluting what would be seen, proving herself to be far more than her mother could be.

She took pride in this. She took pride in the sword, the shield, and everything they stood for. She wields her mother's weapon type with aplomb and grew to be dead set on making herself better, soon obsessed with it, locked on a desire she never knew how to suppress. In this way she has entirely overlooked and ignored the urges to search for her charge, which her father would be quite proud of, if he knew...

There is rarely a moment where Eliana cannot be found practicing in some way, whether it be through small magical tricks, or in all-out combat against a sparring partner.

Bloodwing is weak. Eliana knows this. She knows she could overtake Bloodwing any time if not for the undying loyalty of the clan to their current leader. She fantasizes about seizing power, about taking down this clan's pathetic excuse for a leader. It's such a waste, she thinks. So she keeps quiet about her disdain and plays little tricks to make her clanmates doubt their leader. She plants seeds of suspicion with flickers of shadow and proves herself when she can.

Eliana serves as the clan's combat instructor, training hatchlings to fight and mentoring them as they grow through sparring matches and combat practice. She doesn't much like her job and strongly prefers sparring against an opponent closer to her strength, but can't help but find some satisfaction in watching her students grow. She is slowly earning their loyalty, biding her time, watching, waiting.

This clan will be hers.
