Lore WIP Cliffnotes: Resident mad scientist. More methodical than mad, but definitely still mad in there. One of the oldest members of the Watch and the accepted reasoning why is... because no one's bothered to kick him out, we think. Curious to a fault. Oversees some of the more academic and/or political issues the Watch either has to or wants to involve itself with.

• Has never explained about the two other heads. He did not originally have them. They just... started growing one day. Rose will not answer questions about them, becoming increasingly grumpy if you keep trying to pry. They do appear to have their own personalities and opinions. Although they don't talk, they can eat normally and otherwise appear to be as normal as extra heads can be. (The oldest dragons in the clan report, in hushed tones, that the heads started off as babies and grew up as one would otherwise expect a dragon to.) Left is moody and depressive, right is angry and alert.
• Dove was an early experiment along the later-rat-disaster lines; she follows Rose around constantly, as assistant/adopted-daughter.
• Made an oopsie and there's now a roving ball of magic around this section of the starwood that keeps turning rodents randomly into dragons. rodent's nest
• The rat-transforming orb is just a wandering, eye-searingly bright orb. But, if you could dim the lights somehow (say, perhaps by wearing welding glasses), you might realize that inside is actually a very frightened, very lonely, very hungry magic hamster construct...
• Fun fact! As of June 2022, Rose is one of only unexalted 16 ivory/purple xxys on the site, and only two active. He's the oldest active, and one of only two unexalted imps with the colors!
