A melodic chattering filled the hatchery, accompanied by the rhythmic clicking of approaching claws. The skydancer moved with an eerie stutter, a sight made even more unnerving by the quiet chirps and hisses that she made. Her claws tapped the eggs before her lightly, the sound echoing around the dark, warm cave in a curious melody that accompanied her own strange language perfectly. Her dark wings stretched out behind her and fluttered a moment as she paused over the last egg in the nest. A thick silence settled over the cave.

Shade-touched would be a rather simple way to describe Abaddon. She is certainly no usual dragon, even her language is strange and entirely unintelligible to even to most studied of linguisticians, but her powers of prophecy are undeniably powerful even if her methods are... medieval. Each nest housed in this clan is at the mercy of her powers, each life within only a few clicks away from never existing. Those that pass her tests flourish into beautiful young dragonlings, as promised. Those that do not... Are consumed. Such is the price of prophecy.
