Geocend preserver, savior

"No ailment is too trivial to look at." Geocend, being a cross between a coatl and a spiral, is full of energy and is a generally a joy for others to be around. Not everyone can keep up with him, however, since he often outpaces everyone. He's also a hard to understand dragon because when he is excited his traditional draconian becomes harder to understand or he fully switches over to his more native coatl language. There is no one this playful spirit dislikes and there is also little that scares him. This, of course, is both a good and bad thing since he is often too reckless for his (and the clan's) benefit. Geocend has almost singleclawedly brought the clan more trouble than anyone else has - Hrietian, being the magnet he is for such things, being the only other usual culprit. Beyond being an eternal source of good cheer in the clan, Geocend has recently moved into the role of Healer for the clan after the departure of Anginn, whom he apprenticed under. He struggles - often silently - with feeling inadequate to his mate and to other clan members despite his new importance.

Lead Healer

Eftborenra and Geocend grew up together through a mutual accident on the part of their parents. Both pairs failed to make it all the way to the Ashfall Waste to nest, and so they were born instead in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Geocend was an effervescent youngling and many took a great liking to him very early on. Most especially, Eftborenra and him were very close friends all throughout life. Though they eventually transitioned into being mates, that took some time to work out.

Learning from their parents' mistakes, the two settled in their ancestral lands so they would never have to migrate to have nests. Through the course of their clan hopping, where often at least one of them wouldn't fit in, Eftborenra met the father of her first nest. Geocend, having long harboured a crush on his childhood friend, grew jealous and estranged for a brief time, especially since that particular clan didn't appreciate the spunk he had.

Over the course of time that Eftborenra was briefly mated and nesting, Geocend decided to go back to his birth place for a short time. He later returned to find that Eftborenra had missed his absence keenly. They moved on from that clan and eventually settled with Forbaerna's clan. There they were valued as they were and eventually worked out their feelings for each other. Their ability to speak the common tongue was useful since the number of different species in the clan was large.

Eftborenra eventually earned prominence in the clan due to her skill as a battler. While Geocend was proud of his mate, he often felt like she had far surpassed him. He did what he could around the clan and his energy was always appreciated. Due to often helping out Anginn with the healing duties because of his worry for Eftborenra as a battler, he became her official apprentice and subsequent successor upon her departure from the clan.

The fight against a crazed Scinna nearly cost Eftborenra her life. Geocend used a strong and generally considered taboo healing magic to tether their life forces together. As a result, Eftborenra and Geocend went through a great change and the two were reborn, in a sense. Geocend is aware that should he ever perish, so to will his mate. It's remains to be seen if the opposite is true.
