Average Potential (7): The priestess has read the bones and sees nothing out of the ordinary. The link to their deity is as strong as any other dragon, and the power and magic they conjure is the same.

Bio
For the firstborn son of one of Naomi's bloodline, you'd expect him to be quite overtaken by the powers that made the gatekeeper so fierce in the first place. But Aspen is about as far from that sort of dragon as one gets; he's a rather erudite and polite Fae, interested mostly in furthering his magic studies through working at the Bazaar and taking on work as it comes to him. For the most part, though, he rather prefers to read by himself, perched in a dry part of the Tsunami Flats where he can enjoy the lovely waters and the sounds of the others around him. Most dragons who know nothing of his bloodline come away from a conversation with him with a surprisingly good impression.

That isn't to say he doesn't have plenty of his own fears, however; though he's found the love of his life in Alaula, an unusual Coatl with a mysterious past and deep connection to the Tidelord, he worries for each of his children and what could become of them should something come to pass once more. Though he has his powers under a fair amount of control, even he has destructive urges that he needs Alaula's assistance to keep in check. It's through her help and her surprisingly soothing presence that he's able to keep himself in check, and he loves Alaula dearly for this.

Even so, Aspen dedicates his research day in and day out to the possibility that he may be able to minimize the effects of the cursed blood that flows through his veins.
