Oracle - Great great granddaughter of Naomi. (Naomi > Willow > Oblivion > Aspen > WICKER) Bio The second of Aspen's children was a serious girl, that's for sure. Wicker received the same level of education on the power that she held, and how it could hinder or help them if they used it. She learned that such things had been the cause of an unusual phenomenon that no one could have predicted, and that they had to be insanely careful, even with their diluted blood, to make sure nothing like this happened again. Wicker took this all too easily to heart, and began to utilize the heritage of hers to an interesting effect. Water dragons are known for their abilities as oracles and diviners, but Wicker takes it to a whole new level. It's resulted in her becoming rather reclusive, as her power combined with the visions she receives tend to make her head ache like someone smashed it open. She doesn't like to go out in the sun or stare into direct light, because it only makes things flare even more. She'd probably take to wearing a blindfold if she weren't worried about bumping into every possible thing, but she knows better than to make people think she's strange. Wicker doesn't want that at all. She's a little self conscious about her heritage, preferring it not to be brought up at all if one can help themselves. She's not above getting into someone's face, however, if she believes something is going to befall them; she has a hard time with properly telling people of her visions because she believes in them so much that she believes others will follow them just as easily. How Wicker decided to leave was a mystery, even to her own parents and siblings; she'd never been one to go outside of her room, but she said that her visions were guiding her somewhere. A place where she needed to be, as soon as possible--though she wouldn't explain why. |
