Lisa was brought to the Brightclaw to be a mate for Pearce, and nothing else. She wouldn't have minded, had the glimmering, gold-obsessed Spiral given her the attention and monetary support she deserved, but Pearce had a partner from another clan, some little Coatl boy, and Lisa was nothing more than a nestmate, someone to give Pearce progeny, and that just wouldn't do. Similarly afflicted by a lust for gold but not permitted to handle the Brightclaw's finances as Pearce was, Lisa did the next best thing- she started to steal.

It became a common occurrence to see Pearce streaking through the Brightclaw home to where Lisa sat and begin shouting at her over a missing sum of treasure or a gold trinket, usually concealed among the Skydancer's feathers as she sat feigning innocence, her cool, collected manner infuriating Pearce to no end. While Pearce's flight buddy, Geoff, often managed to talk them down, and the queen-consort Salome usually got Lisa to put her spoils back into the clan's hoard, it's still one of Lisa's favorite pastimes to get Pearce riled up by swiping something shiny.

Len's arrival to the Brightclaw awoke his sister's soul properly within Lisa, and she now remembers another life as Len's younger sister, finally understanding her compulsion to steal and her scheming ways: apparently, it runs in the family. Finding her brother's other two "strings" was quite the ordeal: she remembered Barry as quite a nuisance in their past life, and the righteous speedster is irritating in this life, too, but Len loves him and that's enough, she guesses. She shares Len's love for Mick, though, practically considering the Bogsneak another brother (as long as he doesn't break Lenny's heart). She doesn't quite get the boys' triad relationship and the intensity of their love for each other, but she's happy for them. She's happy for Lenny.
