Easily flustered, neurotic, and very private, unless you're very close to them, Pearce likely prefers the company of gold to yours. Often found sleeping at their desk among sacks of treasure and gems and logs of the clan's hoard, Pearce offsets the natural Spiral narcolepsy by working almost around the clock whilst awake, usually having to be dragged away by their partner, Ray. It shocked nearly everyone when Pearce declared they'd be joining the raid team, training under Kristophsis until he was fit to go out and fight the Beasts. Joining Nur and Ciardha, Pearce is surprisingly adept in a fight, striking vicious blows as though their target owes them money. When they get back to the Brightclaw, though, they're back to their usual stuttering self, and no one quite knows where that smooth confidence goes when they're not in battle.

The Spiral has a peculiar relationship with their mate - that is, they can't stand her, and she loves to make them angry. While they both love gold, Lisa's love leads to her stealing treasure and other golden objects from the Brightclaw hoard, ruining Pearce's counts and sending them into fits of either panic or rage, usually ending in them tracking Lisa down and shouting at her until someone drags them away. Now that Lisa has partners in crime, Pearce is practically climbing the walls, often getting into shouting matches with Len and Mick as Lisa looks on, amused. It's usually Barry who manages to get things calmed down, zipping into the Rogues' personal stash and retrieving whatever it is that Pearce is seeking.

It was while inspecting the clan's hatchery and then visiting some of their affiliates that Pearce discovered young Felicity in the Arboretum. 		fire_3.png
