______ Three Females.. again. No one knew what they had done to deserve the plague of female Death Bringers that Mortema was producing every nest. They had clients wanting males, and so far Mortema was in no mood to put out males. Oh well, might as well make do with what you are given. It was announced that the largest female of the litter would be retained, that ended up being the most dominate, and so far most ill tempered female of the bunch. Rumor was the Boss Man was going to be bringing in a new male, to start up another breeding pair. Plus who wouldn't enjoy two Death Bringers brawling it out in the arena?Despair was the runt of the litter, but the nearly 10 pound weight difference did not affect her in any way. In her own mind she was as large as her mother and going to take on the world. She truly was fearless, with an ego the size of her cage. She would take what ever her siblings dished out. The two larger sisters constantly ganging up on the smaller. But she took it in stride, and would fight back with everything she was worth.

______ Despair and her other sister played as normal Death Bringer hatchlings would have, aggressive yes but knew limits. No more blood was shed even if it sounded like it. The two were extremely vocal. That was one thing about Despair that set her apart; she was extremely vocal. She would 'talk" rather loudly and constantly chattering with a plethora of different sounds and pitches. To the point of annoying even her own mother. It was getting to the point that even some employees were complaining of the constant chatter. Oh well, she would be on the sale floor today anyways.Later in the afternoon the workers walked in with the carriers and gloves, ready to catch the little females and take them up to the sale floor. As two others worked to keep Mortema in a corner, four others went after the sisters. Easily enough, Despair was easy to catch. She gladly announced her anger though, the sounds she made ear shattering as they got her into the carrier and began to push her out of the cage. They walked them up to the sale floor, quickly opening up the cage and tossing the little Despair inside. She was instantly taken with the toys of the sale room. After all.. gotta make it look like these hatchlings have great lives here to the general public! She was happily chattering away as she played with a small ball.. maybe her new owners would Mute her if she got to be too much.
