Personality

Cassi is a extremely loving dragon, going as far as to lay with Rapture when he's at his worst. Or meet him toe to toe. It was her way of protecting him, a reason she shouldn't be taken lightly. Having learned many lessons over her years of residency, losing a considerable amount of naivety. Knowingly the inner workings of the cavern better then one might think, well aware of shady under goings and concerning schemes.

Reporting her findings to Aloe and maintaining a vigilant eye on potential problem people. The head of a secret bureau within the lair, there to aid in management. As the lair has grown, some things have difficult for Aloe alone to handle.

She reprimands others and is the one who is constantly on the hide of trouble makers, if word reaches or her presence is needed. The resolution to most quarrels and a solid, strong voice of leadership. Loving, however, if provoked merciless. and Hunting an assailant to the far reaches of the territory. No matter how injured, she will find her feet until the job is done.

Backstory

Cassiopeia was a another clan member who joined early on and has been the clan's nest guardian ever since. Cassi happily watches over hatchlings when their parents are out and their parents help her as well.

However, this pearlcatcher is also quite adventurous and loves exploring vast distances when her hands aren't tied. Cassi is often mistaken as that always gentle dragon, who could never hurt another and how wrong those individuals are.

Cassi can go from loving and friendly to nasty and blood lusting in less than a heart beat. If she needs to fight off an attacker and defend her home, she will do so with a brutal thoroughness. She may not be the strongest dragon, but once she's got your throat or has bitten you anywhere, she will not let go unless either she is killed or her opponent has expired.

Her only haunting regret is that she wasn't fast enough to save her sister, Fira. However, her sister's killer didn't get far before they themselves were brought to the hands of death.

Cassi will lay her life down to protect her clan, without hesitation and can hold a grudge. Yet, she is extremely caring and kind hearted and will comfort and care for another. Her clan's important to her, they're the only family she has left.

Cassiopeia's love life as been a rollercoaster, at least to her. At first, it was a pearlcatcher named Vicar who stole her heart. He wasn't a bad dragon by any means, but it was obvious that he didn't want to stay in the lair. He wasn't ready to settle, he was still restless and wanted to pursue what a life her wouldn't let him, so Cassi let him go. After a while Garibaldi came around and at turned the pearlcatcher's life around, because he did come into her life and the lair set on staying.

Cassiopeia's two closest friends in the clan are probably Aloeverra and Musaspica, they just under stand her so well, but she gets along with everyone as long as they don't get on her nerves. She also takes great care in taking care of the clan leader so he doesn't hurt himself or someone else.

The only enemy Cassi has, is anyone who hurts her kids. Meaning that anyone who hurts any of her clan mates, is going to have a new ventilation hole in their neck.

Cassiopeia's job is basically to watch over the nests when they're are expecting. Whether it be babysitting young or another's eggs, she doesn't mind. However, her mothering skills go beyond the nest as everyone has gotten a authoritative nip from her at least once.

Pierce met Cassi when she was tending her first nest, she was certainly a nervous wreck. This young storm seeker decided to antagonize her, boy did he push his luck. Cassi was absolutely paranoid that the bird was after the eggs and was having none of it. Pierce was such a little menace and tired her out to the point she couldn't stay awake. The last thing she saw before nodding off was a very smug grin of the very bright eyed bird.

Once the pearlcatcher awoke, she was very confused to see the young bird nestled against her chest. At first she thought about eating him, but second guessed it and to this day is glad she did. Now Pierce is one fierce aerial fighter and gladly accepts any challenge. He is territorial and will fight off any threat to his clan. He's constantly nagged by his fellow fliers by his size, But what he lacks in size Pierce makes up for in speed and ferocity
