Personality

Gerard is a strange one. A man of very few words, but those who know him well don't need to hear his voice to understand. Not an open book by any means, it takes time and effort to understand him this way. Cassi, his wife, is probably the one who's heard him speak the most. Out of both obligation, duty and because he loves her of course.

Not particularly interested in the cavern itself, nor staring there for extended periods. Instead Gerard has been wandering the woods for years, reigning it in to the surrounding territory when hatchlings are expected. He is the eyes in the woods. Vigilant and constant. It's unknown how long he's actually been wandering the land, but the connection to it is undeniable.

As if nature itself communes with him. Single handedly predicting the weather weeks in advance or happenings from miles away, as if he's been told. When questioned, he mentions something about how the wind spreads word fastest. How the forests love to talk, gossip as well. It's kind of unsettling at times. Yet an amazing asset to those Intune with nature themselves, but a pain if seeking any sort of guidance in it.

Gerard has no interest in being a leader or teacher. Rather terrible at it actually. Frustrated by often present gap in skill and knowledge, he does not like being hung up. Especially by someone who can't keep up. But if one proves they're worth the struggle and willing to do so as well, he might consider it.

A nomad, eyes of the woods. A relentless hunter and informant. The first form long range patrol to grace Fallen Stars.
