Biography

Talok made a name for himself as many do in the fighting pits: through death. He fought in the name of the heir-apparent, who rewarded his loyalty by granting him a lordship and a powerful husband, though not one of his choosing.

Story

Framed by candlelight, Jin'nai's face was as beautiful as it was cold. He looked his way with an unreadable expression. "You are a vile creature whose blood sings for death and misery." He said, as easy as if he were reading a book.

"Your perfect match, Venerable." Talok retorted, not caring about rules or etiquette. He wasn't about to let the other think he was above him, not after his prince had brought him up and hailed him as a hero.

He saw the corner of his husband's mouth twitch, "Perhaps so."
