Quadira is not the best at properly expressing her emotions. To others she can seem brusque and even rather intimidating. This is true to a point, in that her leadership skills are excellent, and she focuses more on getting a job done than whose feelings she steps on to do so. She has a masterful attention to detail, and often will not stop until she reaches perfection, or runs herself into the ground trying. Quadira is disgusted by the lazy and those who do not try as hard as she does. Unfortunately for her, that's practically everyone.
While it may be surprising, Quadira was not always the same breed as her mate, Majivu. She began her life as a Spiral dragon, and is more than content to let this information never become common knowledge among her clanmates. As she got to know the brooding Ridgeback who would later become her mate, she knew the last thing he needed was another dragon he thought needed protecting. With this in mind, she sought out a dragon with the magical prowess necessary to ensure her breed could be changed, and, after her successful transformation, she immediately pressed forward to the coliseum, determined to harden her skills in combat. Ultimately, Quadira aspired to be a fully capable dragoness, who could do more than just cower behind her mate for safety. Her steadfastness in pursuing her own goals has made her particularly unforgiving to others who are unmotivated to do the same. |
