    When Majivu was a young dragon, he and his brother Rowan worked in the Lightning Farm in the Shifting Expanse. The conditions were barely fit for living, and after the exhausted dragons were caught trying to sneak away to sleep for an extra hour or two, both were punished severely. They were sent to the most unforgiving part of the Stormcatcher’s territory, the Tempest Spire, and were instructed to harvest the energy batteries near the peak of the tower. It was incredibly treacherous work. Lightning from the stormclouds above was drawn to the metal of the structure, and currents of energy were buzzing through the air constantly. Through no more than mere chance, Rowan was hit by a stray bolt, and was killed instantly. Broken in his anguish, Majivu smashed through the chain-link barriers penning him in, flesh burning black from the electrical wounds, and fled to the nearby territory of the Sunbeam Ruins to bury his brother. Knowing he couldn't very well stay so close to Lightning flight territory anymore, he continued traveling until he reached the Clan of the Flowering Glen.

    After his escape, he honed his skills to become a fearsome warrior in an attempt to combat his overwhelming feelings of failure, despite the fact that the circumstances of his brother's death were out of his control. Because of this, he will do everything in his power to protect those who cannot protect themselves. His firstborn son is named in honor of the dearest one he lost, the vow "never again" one he will hold to the grave.
