Raised among the towering peaks of the Cloudscape Craigs, Polaris found that solitude was a pleasant thing. The youngest of five, the young tundra rarely had a moment to himself as a tiny hatchling, or even a moment alone with either parent. His father, a robust tundra, was often more wrapped in his own studies verses remembering that he had young. This left his mother, a wonderfully dedicated Skydancer, to tend to the nest of five in hopes of seeing them all grow up well in life. Though he loved his family dearly, it felts as if the young one had missed out on the most inherent of Tundra genes -a strong familial bond.
Preferring to spend his days hiding among the snow drifts and dark shrubs of the mountains, watching the passing constellations. In time, he began to watch the weather too, seeing how the clouds would form before huge blizzards or even just windstorms that made the blowing ice and snow so bad that few dare venture outside of the warmth of the clan's lair. Bored and wanting solitude, the young Tundra left his family one night, while everyone was sleeping, to follow the clouds he'd seen. A broken, twisting set that were blown by wind and icy magic towards the outside regions of the world. In time the young one stumbled into the Windswept Plateau, narrowly avoiding the perpetual storm of the Twisting Crescendo. Amazed by the sheer size of the twister, he watched as the clouds were pulled inwards, creating a flurry of ice that spun out and away again to cover the temperate lands with a light haze of snow. For nights, Polaris wandered, following clouds and skies until he found himself coming close to the sea. There he stumbled upon a troupe of dragons, maintaining a kite lair as well as grounds below for all those who wished to join and add their talents to the troupe's array. Hardly a performer, the young tundra worried about finding a place among the motley crew. In time, he's settled into a life of watching the skies with his mate Meissa. This task, though hardly left to just the pair of them, makes the young one feel needed. Given the solitude of this task, Polaris believes he's found the perfect spot for him, giving him both the family unit needed and the quiet alone that he needs.
