Capella: Clan scavenger/ forager, provides compressed steam and air for the multiple engines powering the berg

Gender cis female
Pronouns She/her
Orientation bisexual

Overall personalityCapella is the clans best hunter and forager, having both being a wind dragon and a tundra leaves her able to pick up on scents from all around the floats. If there is a dragon more kind and caring than she is, the clan have yet to find them and take them in. Capella is always willing to extend a fur covered paw to those struggling within the snow and ice, having been responsible for leading at least seventy percent of all dragons homed within the clan to safety. She is often seen trotting after many a dragon, offering her plethora of pitiful skills to repay the debt she owns Dala and Belenta for taking her in all those years go, despite Dala's requests that she needs not to.

Good traits extraordinarily nurturing, willing to care for others and will gladly place herself upon the front line for those within the berg, her optimism is her virtue, staying cheerful even during the darkest nights of winter

Neutral traits tender and caring, she's often seen stoking the flames when Frant isnt around to care for them, always willing to.

Bad traits unfortunately her need to help others renders her quite naive and her tenderness leaves her heart quite open for hard times to wear down on her, she doesnt cope well with death and sights of the Icewarden fill her with a terror so primal
_______________

Capella's tale started during a storm that ravaged deep within the Singer's Brook, the grand storm tore apart both the land and clans alike, rendering huts to ruins and relics to dust. Between the lightning tearing apart the foul darkness and the bellowing winds that sounded like festering and dying beasts, Capella hatched with her wings spread wide. Between her parents fighting to keep the roof over their den and nest in place, and the howingling winds tearing apart the thin walls, the meer seconds old hatchling wings filled with air and took off, vanishing into the darkness with her fur still wet from fluid.

As any wind dragon would, even one so young, her wings stretched as far as they could go and she let herself hang limp, letting her wet fur dry and her eyes open for the first time. between the lightning streaking around her and the bellowing thunder akin to a battle cry, the hatchling found comfort within the dark moments between the warring sky. The storm its seemed, had no eye, not arms as one would expect, no cold front clashing with a rising warm, no rain to pelt the ground, just screaming wind, howling lightning and its sibling thunder, and a cold so deep it seeped into her bones. The God's it seemed, were waring once more, be it against each other, or against the bitter night covering the Windswept Plateau.

She hovered, watching as the twisting shape of the Windsinger dart between inky black masses filled with maws brimming with teeth. She hovered, watching as the Stormcatcher dove with both the fineness of his father of wind and the wrath of his father of water, cleaving snapping tendrils clean with his own scythes. She hovered, watching as the great tail of the Icewarder bashed and sent writhing masses of shadow down into the earth, swallowed up by ice and rime. She hovered as she felt shadow devour her young mind, the protecting gods turning to monsters made to tear her apart. She hovered no longer, her wings snapping to her sides and plummeting deep within the shadows, not to emerge even when the Shade's attempted resurrection were bested and dragged screaming to the Southern Icefield.

Capella emerged from the shadows, fur stained blacker than the depths of space, years and years later, left tearing apart fledgling clans along the edges of the icefield. For how long she had done so, none knew, but it was long enough that the Shade deep within her withered away and died, leaving a Tundra half drowned within dark blue water. Between waterlogged fur and a starved body, she could do little but spread her wings across the water and float, float forever untill some water beast dragged her down or a dragons stumbled across her shivering form.

The nights and days stretched on for her, untill, one night, a single light bobbed upon the freezing water. a boat... no a small ice float with a Mirror using her own wings as a sail. Within seconds, Capella was dragged atop, the same Mirror dotting over her worryingly while a Fae perched delicately atop her head. Finding salvation at last, Capella spoke for the first time in her long life, apologising for being a hassle. the Mirror, called Dala, laughed gently and started to comb her wet fur free of knots, telling her that there was no need to apologize for help, after all, the Floats took lives where it saw fit.

From there, their bond only grew, the small ice float grew too small as the gathered more and more dragons from the water or from trading post. With Belenta and Dala's combined might, the two had crafted the Icewall Berg lovingly from their own breath, each dragon they housed combining their efforts and might to make their home as livable as possible.

25515867p.png Cappela...Mate, she's the reason why this Berg is the way it is! If we aint pulled her from the water all those years ago, well, we'd still be floatin' 'round on a dingy slab of ice!
