With the help of a passing dragon, you find yourself ambling towards the center of the Galestorm Flyers' lair, entering what looks like a massive arena with a thick layer of sand on the ground. In the center is a large stone platform, an obstacle course extending from one end and leading towards the opposing wall. The entire room is lit up by massive electric lights, casting harsh shadows on the sand. It doesn't take long for a rugged black and grey skydancer to approach you from a hidden door, a bear the size of him at his heels.
"Greetings, you must be the guest in our lair. I am Razbi, beast tamer and trainer of this clan. Here for consultation on a finicky familiar or just to watch me work?" Razbi offers you a strange smirk, brushing away the bear as it tries to nibble on the purple flowers atop his head.

Origins

Born in the Southern Icefields, Razbi has always been a tough natured dragon, though his name was Tsyalo in the beginning. With the harsh winters of the Icewarden's domain, Tsyalo's clan was intensely focused on survival and instilled these values in the skydancer at a young age. Unfortunately, the need to succeed combined with Tsyalo's tenacious and exploring nature resulted in disaster. At the dare of a clanmate, Tsyalo entered the icy cavern that had once belonged to a Yeti. He thought it was uninhabited, but he was utterly wrong and under prepared, losing the fight almost instantly. He returned home, bruised, only to be practically shunned by the clan leader for his failure to win. He slunk to the healer's den, his pride wounded only to discover the gem in his forehead that granted him skydancer powers was shattered. The leader heard the news and called a clan meeting, where he forced the broken skydancer to take on a new, more fitting name: Razbi, shattered. This was the last straw for Razbi--his entire world had turned upside down in mere moments and he could feel an aching nothing--so he made his decision to leave. He still adored his family, but he found it difficult to read their emotions let alone his own. With a sense of being hopelessly lost, Razbi packed his few things and traveled, eventually finding himself in the Shifting Expanse. Son after, he settled in the Galestorm Flyers and took up beast taming, slowly training his ability to read others' body language through his work with the familiars. Here, he met the first dragon he could truly understand, a gardener named Rhun from the allied clan the Scholar's Enclave. It didn't take long for the pair to hit it off and become close friends, Rhun offering Razbi a violet flower crown as a "token of friendship". No one was surprised when the friendship morphed into a romance. The romance prevailed even when the Enclave moved to the Southern Icefields, and the pair kept in touch, finding near weekly excuses to visit each other in their opposing landscapes.

Personality

On the surface, Razbi seems like an empty, apathetic dragon, and many see him that way. After the shattering of his gemstone, Razbi lost his way with emotions, both in reading and showing them. Typically, he speaks in a monotone or gruff voice, usually accompanied by frank words, which many interpret as aggression. In fact, Razbi is not trying to sound aggressive or rude, but rather has forgotten how to moderate his tone and words to reflect what he feels. Most times, Razbi can't even put his emotions into words. He strives to relearn these skills through working with the animals in his care and clanmates around him, mimicking their expressive body language. Those who spend lots of time with Razbi can discover his true nature as a kind, determined, and slightly lost dragon. He spends much of his time working to rehabilitate and train familiar simply to help them. What is left of his free time is split between relearning social skill and enjoying his time with Rhun or his friends, namely Orlene--who reads him incredibly well--Socius, Custos, and Wildfire. With Rhun, he has slowly rediscovered his affectionate side. The sweet tempered spiral inspired Razbi to find love in his heart, which he tries to show by frequent communication and visits despite the distance between them. The beast tamer also quite enjoys using terms of endearment, often calling Rhun "sweetheart", "love", or "blossom".
