Spectrum grew up in the Tempest Spire of the Shifting Expanse. Curiosity got the best of her as she tried to find a way to communicate with the Stormcatcher herself. The great thunder god was not pleased and struck Spectrum with a bolt of lighting that almost shredded her wings apart. Not discouraged she built a steam punk brace that holds her wings in place and aids it to be functional .

Angry at the Lightning god she sought off to find a way to overthrow the lighting god itself by potentially recruiting other dragons from other clans as well as their gods. On her journey she runs into Ishkirka who was also seeking a way to take down her own flight god, she was given the Plauge Tome to help her have a better understanding of the gods so that one day they would bring them down.
