"No plague shall corrupt me."

Since being rescued from slavery in a vicious plague clan, Nightrun has been caught up in a battle to bring down the Plague deity. His time in the plague flight brought on a great change in personality and greatly affected the appearance of the grey spiral. As a young dragon in the Twisting Crescendo, he once had kind, pale green eyes, and a purple underbelly but the exposure to aggression and poisonous attitudes in his old life has turned him into an overall more toxic dragon. His belly scales and horns went from a calm violet to a lively, contagions green, and his once kind eyes are now feral, constantly flitting back and forth. He trusts no one. Nightrun’s tail also grew a wooly coat. Other dragons in Ishkirka’s army think it has something to do with the wolf pelt he wears like a second skin. Some even believe that the skin has become part of him and furthered the changes in him.

Due to his small size, Nightrun is often sent out on scouting missions ahead of his combatant masters. He is frighteningly quiet and his missions are constantly successful. Were it not for his dedication to bringing down the Plaguebringer, the changes in the spiral would likely be dangerous to the group he is with. The only time when Nightrun’s old self emerges is when he is with his friend, another scout named Kingfisher. The two play pranks on other dragons in the group. Since both of the pranksters are scouts, they are rarely caught, and even when they are, there is never enough evidence to be certain.
