Biography

Sunburst
Shining Slayer

Sunfish Eliminate Enamor

The light before your death.

The day that Sunburst came to the clan was a cloudless one. As she flew overhead, any dragon that looked up in curiosity had to immediately look away, rubbing their eyes. Sunburst landed, quite pleased with herself, in the middle of the clearing, as Bloodrunner appeared from the shadows on the ground. They asked for a place to stay, and were accepted, as Mina only had two other trained warriors at the time.
Sunburst is possibly the least-liked dragon in the clan. She's narcissistic about her appearance, and enjoys flashing reflections off of her scales whenever she can, preferably into others' faces. So polished are her scales that sometimes motes of dust or entire dry leaves are ignited in the air around her, just from the reflected light. She wears no apparel, not even armor, complaining that it would make her "dull". Her hide is tougher than that of the average dragon, as if she is actually made of crystal. This combined with her speed and power have resulted in no scars marring her "perfect" scales.
Many dragons in the clan are scared of her and Bloodrunner - both seem to love fighting a little too much. Sunburst has been known to brag at length about exactly how she gets rid of any monster - or dragon - that crosses her: blind them with her scales, and then with her claws or spines, before eliminating them for good. No one knows if her stories of killing other dragons are true, and no one is particularly willing to investigate further.

Sunburst and Bloodrunner have traveled and fought together since both were young warriors. "Sister" and "brother" they call each other, though they are not related. When asked, they say they are bloodtwins - their friendship was forged in the heat of battle and they will never part from each other's side.
War.
Blood.
Just another day in the Scarred Wasteland.
Turf wars happened regularly in these parts, but this was the first time Sunburst got to join an offensive. She wheeled through the sky, a shining beacon of victory for her clanmates.
A cloud of dragons rose into the air to meet them. Time for her special move. She dove to gain speed, then ruffled her spines and zipped under an enemy's wing. He stared at the shredded skin in confusion as he fell. Sunburst grinned and looped back into the light. Her wings flashed a warning to all who dared cross her. She dove back into the fray.

The skirmish should have been finished. But the other clan would not be sporting about their loss. They came in the night, ambushing warriors and innocents alike. The battle began again, but now everyone in both clans was involved, and neither would back down. Sunburst reveled in the fighting, but even she held out a secret hope that it would end soon.
It did not end. The clans destroyed each other completely, leaving only a single survivor on either side. Sunburst hovered out of reach of the other, a large, blood-red Imperial.
"Well? Will you try to rip me to shreds, as you did my clanmates?" the Imperial asked of her. "I doubt you will succeed."
"There is no one left to kill you for," Sunburst replied. "No one to celebrate my victory. What satisfaction would I get from it?"
The Imperial nodded. "A lone dragon in the Wasteland does not survive long. Let us join forces."
Sunburst scoffed.
The Imperial continued: "No clan here will allow either of us in - we are enemies to everyone. Living alone is difficult; traveling alone is death."
"Alright," Sunburst reluctantly agreed. "Where should we go?"
