Devil

Devil soon found himself at the very edge of Highland Scrub, he was in the lightning territory. Ah, the memories here... How bittersweet yet so thrilling. "Chis... What do you say we introduce ourselves to some, new friends?" Devil gave a sly grin to the Death Seeker flying beside him and chuckled lowly to himself as it gave a loud agreeable caw. And with that, the hunt began. It had only been a few hours before the sound of other dragons hit his ear. Smiling more he slipped his way atop some rocks and glanced around for the noises he heard. His eyes scanned over a large male Imperial... "Not my taste..." Next, they darted over to a robotic female Pearl Catcher... "Something... is off about her... and it isn't those robotic parts... He was about ready to give up when a silhouette caught his eye. Another Pearl Catcher, but... no pearl near it. Now THIS got him interested.

Soon he found himself floating down wing beats hardly making a sound. Silence... Yet it seemed they already knew he was there. The first to take notice of him was the large Imperial, the second was the robotic dragon he couldn't seem to make eye contact with. Not out of fear. But because his eyes were locked on that dragon who caught his attention. She wore bird skulls on her body and she held herself so well. He tipped his hat slightly and removed it from his head his eyes traveling along her.

He was about to say something when she raised her paw and stopped him in his tracks. She stood and walked around him in a circle before leaving him her own familiar, that caught Chis eye right away landing on her back. His eyes followed her, but before he could even speak the group of dragons stood and began walking inside a cave hidden in the shrubs. He couldn't leave her... So he followed.

Months had gone by, many dragons had joined and left. But he still chased after Raamiah. How he loved to say her name. They had become kind of close. He enjoys watching her work by making storm systems to water the small gardens that another dragon has made. He had been asked to join the clan often. But he would often refuse... He was used to his nomadic life but this dragon was giving him a run for his treasure. She was so confident he couldn't slip his way into a weakness to get Raamiah to need him. "Why won't she open up to me... And suddenly a shadow swallowed up his small form with knowing eyes and a confident grin. This Imperial... made him just as uncomfortable as that robotic Pearl Catcher did...

"Let me tell you about our dear Raamiah... I warn you, though, hurt her in any way. And it will forever seal your fate." The dragon spoke and although nervous Devil nodded. Listening first with excitement, but later with sadness and horror. He now understood the distance she set up with everyone. And for some reason, his once emotionless personality melted...

After a month in the clan Devil finally accepted the offer to stay. Not because he has grown to enjoy the company, but because he had finally opened up to Raamiah. The long months of longing for her and the nervous silence he started to get. Both are as close as two could be, and could never be happier. Though, they never really state so. A nomadic casanova planned to steal another heart but got his stolen instead.
