Tinantia is ruler of the Dusk Court. She is fair and strict, and less serene than Ageratina (Dawn Court) or Athenaea (Ultimate Law). Occasionally a burst of temper is necessary to keep order in the more unruly Dusk Court.

“Tinantia.”

The newly-crowned arbiter turned to face her predecessor, standing in the doorway to the chambers. “Yes, Lycium?”

“The mourning period is over. Aziude’s body has been laid in the ground. It is time to begin your duties as the ruler of the Dusk Court. You must attend the meeting between Ageratina and Athenaea to discuss this shaky peace between the courts. I will not be here to guide you much longer.”

Tinantia scoffed. “Your time has passed. We will not bow nor listen to the whining of the lesser courts. War will not ensue, but they will be no allies of ours. The Dusk court is superior to both the Dawn Court and the Royals. Why should we be forced to follow their say and accept their alliance if we will only be dragged down? Go to your new clan, and I wish you well of it.”

For a moment, Lycium was silent. Then there was a small nod before he left to relay the new ruler’s message and finish packing.

Tinantia is a genus of plants that are commonly called widow's tears.
