SALENA
The Blue Moon Warden

Born on the last day of the Flameforger's Festival, two different kinds of magic fused together to create this glimmering creature of beauty. She goes unseen by those who are awake, but all who slumber or walk the corridors of the Dream Realm can find her. She appears as a dream, a proud and noble statue of obsidian scales, sapphire wings, and moonstone belly, but this statue lives and breathes to conquer foes that would attack the helpless sleeping.

A warden of dreams is not an easy task, but Salena's determination to adhere to her duties sees her traveling far and wide through the corridors of the Dream Realm, that place where peculiar creatures can send one into a never-ending sleep. She is especially adept at battling unseen foes while allowing the dreamer to sleep on restfully. Perhaps it is her beauty, her silent step, or her calming smile, but all who see her in their dreamscapes know that Salena is there to protect and to serve, and that they can rest easy in her presence.

As unlikely as it was, Salena found a creature who was able to see her. Whether it was because he had been touched by the same magics that had created her or he was simply a draconic anomally, this peculiar Nocturne was able to capture her heart on their first meeting, or at least compel her to stay with him for reasons unbeknownst to her. For some time, though, Albedo himself didn't believe that Salena was anything but a dream. Piece after piece fell in place over time, mainly from failed attempts at slaying the dream creatures that resulted in those in the waking world to never awaken. The end result was that Albedo truly believed that what he dreamed wasn't entirely from a restless mind.

Eventually, the pair had what others would consider offspring. The results weren't always quite the same, though. Perhaps due to physical differences between Salena and Albedo, respectively a creature that can't be touched by conventional means and a creature of scale and blood, the offspring were sometimes of the same variety as their mother, sometimes as solid as their father, and other times a curious mixture of the two. Their abilities seemed to differ just as much. Salena found that their Imperial offspring tended to be able to enter and interact with the Dream Realm just as well as she could, while their Nocturne offspring tended to see the Dream Realm through fleeting dreams. Salena took it upon herself to carefully study each of their offspring, observing each child to find what their strengths and weaknesses were. Those who saw the Dream Realm for what it was had her as their personal teacher in the ways of the Realm. The others were trained by Albedo's skillful claws. There were a surprising few who didn't take to the way of the warrior as their parents did, but there were none who didn't know how to defend themselves at the very least.

Salena is very pretty! I like the unconventional spelling of her name, as well. I don't know whether keeping her naked is something you did for lore purposes, but I think you have some nice apparel options that would be congruent with her dream warden status. Maybe some of these?

Additionally, I think the pieces of the siren sylvan set or the silver sylvan set would be lovely (I'm too lazy to code all the pieces).

And, if you're not too attached to her familiar, I think these would complement her colors more:

As for her bio, I think it's interesting. I'm a little confused as to exactly how she travels through the dream world, though: does she live there, or does she only go there when she herself is dreaming? What is she protecting sleeping dragons from? Also, what two forms of magic fused to make her? Since her bio is so short, it leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

Also, two more things because they were bugging me: "glimmering creature of beauty" is a little... excessive. I think "glimmering creature" or "glimmering beauty" would read more naturally. Also, in the little blurb at the bottom, "one such as I" is incorrect grammar. You would need something like "someone like me" instead.

Oo, thank you very much! :D Salena's entire bio (aside from the credit, the second horizontal line and everything beneath that) was written by her original owner/breeder, and her name was given to her as well. I've left everything nearly untouched since purchasing her. The only thing that I did change was how the pictures were coded (changed them so that their tool tips appeared). The Dream Warden lore was also created by Sienna, so they would know more about their role than I would. I was able to learn more about the Dream Wardens through a few Letters from Hatchlings, though (which I should start sending again xD). From how things played out, I gathered that Salena does have a physical form and only enters the Dream Corridors when she's asleep. Her parents on the other hand gave up their physical forms to fully inhabit the Corridors. In order to interact with physical beings and objects, they borrow a host. The host has no memory of the borrowing after. Offspring are the result of the parents joining together to share memories. I suppose if I do edit her bio, I could somehow include all of that and polish the grammar? ^^

For a bit of background on the Dream Wardens, they're tied in with Sienna's dragons. There is a no-good dragon in their lair who mainly resides in the Corridors. He and his minions enjoy torturing dragons, to the point where they aren't quite the same when they wake up or just stay asleep forever. A Dream Warden combats that dragon and his minions to keep those they care for from befalling those fates. Again, though, Sienna would be the better person to ask xD Even though only a snippet was provided, their lore is interesting, and it was what drew me to Salena and her sisters (traded a Wavesweeper for this lady without much regret, right on the spot xD).

Apparel... I really just left her naked because I have nothing on hand that suits her and all of my currency is being saved to buy genes xD So far, I haven't found anything that gives her a spectral appearance, aside from the sylvan apparel (none of which I have xD) and perhaps the silks. I figured she'd look more complete with the right accent, though I have yet to obtain that "right accent." XD Might save up for a custom...

For her current familiar, the bear is honestly just there so I can Awaken it xD Her usual familiar is a Baku. I figured that it fit best since Baku also have the ability to walk both the physical and the dream worlds. Not the best together aesthetically, I think, but a problem that might be helped some by apparel?

I think you should definitely pursue the details you just told me in her bio! It's definitely an interesting concept that's worth exploring. Even if it's not entirely congruent with Sienna's details, it would still be fun imo. And I feel you on the gene thing; they also eat up most of my income D: I'm glad you liked it!
