Biography

Primar
Keeper of History

Primar finds immense beauty in everything. She adores history, and that adoration grew into a career after moving to Dragonhome. And so, she seeks to learn more about the formation of our realm and the history of the Eleven.

She spends her time visiting other Earthen clans, visiting their historical monuments, and researching on her own. She uses this knowledge to teach her clanmates old and young about the history of this realm. Additionally, she cares for her own clan's precious historical treasures, and teaches outsiders and Clan children about them. She also is primarily in charge of teaching exaltion-bound hatchlings and dragons about serving the Earthshaker. Between all that she does, she hardly gets a moment to rest, though she seemingly doesn't need many.

Many of Primar's clanmates look up to her, and her role as Keeper reflects this. Her undying dedication to learning and educating earned her the duty of discovering and recording the clan's knowledge of history, and the prehistory of the clan itself.

Relationships

Primar doesn't consider herself close with many, but is friendly with the clanmates most active in the community. Her closest peers are her mate,Folly; son, Corkscrew; and lifelong friends Glow, Aome, and Gibbous. Besides her closest friends and family, Primar incredibly enjoys fellow Keepers, as well as dragons in history-related professions. She has a vested interest in Claus, and they often have lengthy conversations about places they each have visited.

One of her more recent friends is Underfoot, who she is very curious about. She sees her as something of a living historical artifact, and tries to assist her in her quest to discover information about her mysterious, and possibly ancient, past.

She can be a little overbearing and eccentric. More impatient dragons may not appreciate her unsolicited lectures on history...

Our clan began as a nameless, loosely-tied band of friends connected through Glow, an optimistic Wind-flight Fae. Without a care in the world, as windbound dragons are known for, these young dragons thrived in their quest to have fun. However, Glow, loving the world, began to grow curious of it. He traveled the world, visiting each Dragonflight to learn of life in each place, risking his safety for the thirst of knowledge. He had long delayed visiting the Earth flight, however thinking it not as interesting as the vibrant Nature flight or the mystical Arcane flight...

However, after he first laid claw upon the mourning land, he made more and more frequent trips to Dragonhome, where he had heard history is archived very diligently, and found something he never had before- a deep reverence. He began to speak more seriously, and realized that he had been living in arrogance. Hhe saw it in those around him, as well. He began to wonder what his clan was contributing to the world, and thus one day made the decision to leave. It seemed odd to everyone that Glow would want to move to such a harsh, arid place as Dragonhome, and few would follow.

Gibbous, the securitydragon set on guarding his friends' lives.

Crescent, whose only devotion was to Gibbous.

Primar, who also wished to learn all that she could about the world.

Primar's peace-seeking wife Folly, wanting to nurture her wife's curiosity, and their hatchling child.

and Aome, the ambitious mage who craved a challenge compared to the peaceful steppes of the Plateau.

This odd band of dragons eventually made their homes in the deep shades of the Greatwyrm's Breach. More dragons would end up finding themselves in their company, and forming a thriving community. Glow, searching for meaning, began to keep a record of history with the assistance of Primar's expertise. However, certain questions began to stick out in Glow's mind, as some things simply could not be answered with public information. He began to search for other ways to aquire what he was looking for, and thus enrolled the now-mercenary Aome to the role of Keeper.

It is not know what Glow was looking for, nor what Aome did to find it. After Aome's promotion to Keeper, however, the clan's leading figures became more recluse. Though they remained as central leading figures, controlling the clan's resources and providing services and land for its residents, the Keepers became protective of their closely-held secrets. The fledgling clan was attacked, opening up the hidden Greatwyrm's Gut. The Gut became forbidden, with the threat of exile looming over any dragon daring enough to make their way inside.

Dragons grew wary as soon as secrets began to be kept. However, many dragons knew the Keepers well and trusted them. Aome, though, was notoriously suspicious. He took mercenary work that seemed to many to be fishy, if not downright heartless, for great treasures. It came to a boil one day when the usually speechless Crescent came to him, asking him to meddle in the Cairnestone Rest.
