Claus
Wandering Monument Carver

Claus spends nearly all of his time exploring the world, searching for travelers who met an unfortunate end, and assisting those who are close to doing so. He searches in particular for dragon and Beastclan alike who had never been buried or memorialized, erecting statues in their honor and treating their remains with the respect they never had the chance to recieve. A very avid traveler, he is rarely seen in Dragonhome, coming only when rain is due to befall the place.

He and his mate Argua only meet when Claus visits home, bar rare and special occasions. Claus' dedication to his work is not enough to keep him from pining to see his husband nearly every day, but their connection is one that does not require each others' physical presence, or so they each describe it. Regardless, when they do come together, the two of them hardly leave each others' side, talking about each other and what has happened to each of them in the other's absence.

He and Primar enjoy a friendship as discoverers of history. Claus' travels sometime bring him to long-forgotten areas, where dragons whose names have been left unspoken for generations have fallen. Claus does not quite like to describe his outings, but he will share details and objects with Primar, who takes it as a challenge to figure out their stories with what Claus is comfortable sharing.
