Being a fairly quiet, patient, and withdrawn dragon, Folly seemed rather out of place in the land of the Shifting Expanse, dominated by ambition and thrill. She had no room in her heart for dreams of empire; rather, she wished to relax and live simply. However, at her young age, she did not have the drive to commit to such an ordeal, moving her entire life to a faraway land.

Something finally shook her, though. The Stormcatch Sanctum had been destructed, rippling a new kind of shock to many in the Lightning flight. Horrified, Folly finally decided to take her extended vacation to the home of her dreams- the Windswept Plateau. There, she met her now-wife Primar. The two of them fell in love quickly, and Folly became the stepmother of Corkscrew.

Now living in the Greatwyrm's Breach, Folly spends her days supporting Primar in her work, watching over Corkscrew, and relaxing. She loves to fly over the silent landscape, relishing in the dry air rushing between her wings and the quiet in her ears. She picks flowers along the way, collecting samplings of the bluest ones to decorate her home. When going about her daily business though, her normally docile demeanor can suddenly shift towards anger- she treasures her found silence greatly, not tolerating interruptions.

Relationships

Folly loves to listen to her beloved Primar's lectures and tales, the two of them growing close initially due to their uncanny ability to unwind with one another. Nowadays, Folly has discovered a nurturing side to herself, pouring it into her family's strong spirit.

Though technically his stepmother, Corkscrew doesn't see Folly as any less his parent than his blood-related mama Primar. The two rather restless Spirals drive Folly up the wall at times, but Folly loves them nontheless.
