Although Haku has been living in the Sunbeam Ruins for as long as he can remember, it was only recently that he, a dragon who had been separated from all his kin, stumbled across the Clan during his search for the Lightweaver’s mercy. The Clan was, like Haku, still young at the time; the Gilded Circle had already been established, however, so though he holds a fairly high-ranking position, Haku still is one of the ‘lower’ dragons. Power, however, barely matters to the pacifist Haku considers himself to be. He has no need for any kind of force and believes that, given an adequate amount of order, the Clan will have little trouble functioning without an active leader. It is perhaps due to these views that Shiroe has kindly accepted him as his right-hand dragon, as a fellow member of the Wooden Order. Furthermore, the Clan’s true leader, Marth, appears to be quite fond of him - and the feeling is mutual. Haku does not particularly consider himself to excel at anything; however, it is generally agreed upon that if he has anything, it is a way with words. While many dragons of the Wooden Order occupy themselves with the writing of history and undeniable facts, Haku has a more poetic style. Artistic dragons aren’t quite common among the Clan, and do not number enough to warrant their own Order - if they did, however, Haku would most certainly be their leader. For now, however, he enjoys practising his diplomatic skills alongside his poetry.
