Shiroe
so wrote the scribe

Like any good scribe, Shiroe finds his origins back in the Windswept Plateau, a sea away from where Marth and Caeda would found the clan. Quietly, he practices his brushstroke, to ensure that messages of any importance are still legible - his flight values speed over style, yes, but that doesn’t mean he is not allowed to pursue both.

And the explorers, oh - the explorers. Shiroe has never had the constitution to join a party, he knows that, but he knows there are other ways he might assist. Transcribing their journals, for example, and turning their findings into a comprehensive collection of that which is no longer unknown in Sornieth.

With some sense of pride, he neatly orders the books, occasionally using a minor spell to keep the more fickle ones from falling out.

That, of course, was how he’d have liked to continue his life - but he knows best that the unpredictable winds are, indeed, the ideal metaphor for fate.

So it happened that, impressed by his work, a younger group requested his presence. His initial reaction was, of course, to refuse, but the group was eager and just beginning - surely they could barely get any further than him?

Shiroe only realized his mistake after making a crash landing into the wrong flight.

Nevermind that - history is just vertical geography, according to a clanmate dubious statements, and he could write all the same. They have come to greatly value the lorekeeper’s presence, and though he rarely uses it himself, he occasionally joins Blake in teaching some of the younger dragons to use magic.

Where was he from again? Doesn’t matter.
