The alpha pair's second child, Gnash stands to inherit the clan after the banishment of his elder brother. Though he is less of a disappointment, his eccentric ways and interests often tend to puzzle and frustrate his parents.

He has little interest in commanding or leading. He prefers the company of his animals over that of other dragons. He can often be spotted taming and training, or babbling on in a deep, one-sided conversation with one of his creatures.

Yet he is a fierce warrior, and though there may be some tension between him and his parents regarding his future, he is incredibly loyal to the clan and will do anything to protect it.

Gnash has a bit of a soft spot for lonely dragons, and will often 'adopt' the wanderers that encroach on Bloodbane's territory rather than chasing them away. This is how he met Clot, his best friend and consort. The two are a powerful couple and though their union is more of a strategic union between friends than romantic love they balance each other well. Clot brings a sense of ambition and drive to the otherwise laid-back Gnash, and Gnash gives her peace, security, power, and an opportunity to travel and explore.
