KELP BED LEVELER
Vertical banner of an oceanic kelp forest. This build is for training one dragon in the Kelp Beds. Usually, Kelp Bed Levelers are used in teams of two; Mandala's usual partner is Royale, who may be borrowed with Mandala.

Scratch to build breath, then once you have at least 35 breath, scratch and eliminate everything!

Reflect Use Reflect when you encounter the Mantarune or Wave Sweeper. These bosses are mages, and all their attacks will be reflected back to them! Each dragon can only have one cast of Reflect active at once, so have each trainer use it on themselves.
Considerations:
  • All the non-boss enemies need a scratch before eliminating with this build to ensure the breath refund on eliminate.
  • When fighting bosses (Mantarune or Wave Sweeper), save your breath for applying and re-applying Reflect on your dragons, and just scratch the bosses down.
  • Reflect reflects all spells, including helpful spells cast by allies, leading to the unintended effect of buffing the enemy instead.
  • This build is very easily used in the Kelp Beds for leveling one dragon with the Kelp Bed Levelers, and they can level the trainee to any level.
  • If you need a mage for farming with these two in the Golem Workshop or Forbidden Portal, you may borrow Shield, Hanauma, or Mia to accompany them.
  • The only ability stones required are Eliminate and Reflect. Rally, Shred, an elemental slash, and/or Sap are useful options up to the player's preference. (Please do not overlay the stones on this dragon without Ganondorf's permission; this is information for your own Kelp Bed Levelers.)

Ragged Skirmisher Scrap When I first received Mandala, I knew very little about her history. I had received her from hawchoo, who passed her, and 10 other dragons, on to me to keep her in the Lending Cycle. All the clues I could find indicated she's been hawchoo's dragon since she was first lent out, all the way back in 2018!

Then, on April 1, 2023, I finally learned her origin story! She was part of Leopardmask's first coliseum team, which was, according to them, "statted functionally". They fell out of love with her, and since she was level 25, they didn't want to just exalt her, so they donated her to the Lending Cycle!
