Biography
The condition of lesser dragons all across Sornieth has been ignored for too long by those dragons best able to defend their eyeburner, their exalt fodder, their last chance brethren. In this newfound time of plenty, freed from the Shade and largely united against the beastclans, it is unconscionable that the practice of forcible exaltation continues to be employed in so many lairs and clans throughout the land. I call not only on those unfortunate enough to be directly threatened by this danger, but those secure in their positions, to rally against this unnecessary cruelty. We must act! Yaazania was adopted from the Dragon's for Items Trading Post , and she could not have been happier to find a forever home. She was hatched to a compulsive collector father, and grew up watching Flight Rising's ever-present cycle of dragons being sent to other lairs, or being honored through exalting. She was a smart young hatching, though, and began tor realize that the "desirable" dragons looked nothing like her. When she heard rumors that she had been found a new home through a board that allowed the aforementioned exalting, she became rather nervous. Where was she going? Would she like her new clanmates? Would she even get a chance to know her new clanmates? Fortunately for her, she ended up with a friendly group of Acolights. Having found a place to call home, Yaazania wants nothing more than to enjoy her life in peace. However, she is a little bit too aware to be happy forever, and her clanmates had a sneaking suspicion that she couldn't let let the issues of trading and exalting alone for long. In fact, they were proven right shortly after her arrival, when she joined a small band of dragons is protest against the exalt pillars. Gathering around the pillars, they (apparently): 1) attempted to purchase dragons away from their clans; 2) handed out literature on alternate careers for hopeless dragons; and 3) shouted at exalting clans. It was number 3, one they saved for last, which had them removed from the premises by several attending Guardians. Though Yaazania has since cooled down a little, she continues to refine her methods of attack. She calls the fight on exalting "her own personal Dominance battle". And though many in her own clan disagree with her, her unique point of view and the care and concern behind it earned her a (probational) spot on the Clan Clutter Council. Hearing the news was the second happiest day she could remember, behind only being adopted itself. Unfortunately, it was shortly followed by one of the worst days of her life, the mass exalting her clan participated in during IvP 2015. Her clan's own practices, not to mention the practices of all other clans, fueled an anger of which she had not been aware. Yaazania is a probational member of the Clan Clutter Council. |
