Kairos is both a rhetorical term for “the opportune moment” and the word for “weather”.

Kairos is his father's son. Charming and politically savvy despite his youth, his inborn likeability and knack for making friends and inspiring loyalty seems a bit preternatural - perhaps the result of the prodigious Arcane talents that are his genetic legacy. The first of Kyrakios' offspring to be chosen to remain with the clan, he is aware that expectations lie heavy on his shoulders, but seems to see this as an opportunity rather than a challenge. He is ready to face his destiny head-on, and make of it what he can.

Other dragons in the clan, Kyrakios' few detractors, have whispered that perhaps part of the reason he has been allowed to stay in the clan is that Kyrakios assumes his loyalties will be simple and easy to govern. It's doubtful, though, that Kyrakios would ever make such a banal and unnecessary judgment call as that. Most simply don't listen to those rumors, and Kairos would prefer to think he was chosen to stay on his merits alone rather than as a lackey to his powerful father.

Kairos currently serves as the clan's primary ambassador. As such, he is frequently away from the lair, often journeying to the far reaches of the land to secure and maintain the clan's relationships.
